Insignificant
Life is a peephole,
a single insignificant entry
on to a vastness,
this peephole is all we got.

Back To Work
A secretary must control
A randy boss's rigid pole
Her knickers extol
A lacy peephole
A fitting end to his bankroll...

Mirror To My Soul
My soul
Glassed
In a translucent dream
Fixed
To the mirror of your eye
Seeing
Right through me
Having full control

The peephole
To my soul...

Bedding
Suns. Most often moons.
Slithering like a plague
From a craving nowhere
To a playful peephole
Which the poet himself can’t find.
Now it’s there—
Stains!
Now, what?...

Dear
Trust me
Dearly;
I'll give you
Something
For nothing,
And nothing
Withholding.

I want you
To see you,
To hold you
And peek through
The peephole
That shows all
Within you....

Ruby Slippers
These tornadoes that shred me,
twirled on
knowing you’d one day
haunt my ruin;
use my mind for a peephole,
step lightly over my hill.
Blond curls a choreography
of sunlight and days undone.
Slim legs binding blood
to a wounded feline hanker
and a tin thin regret...

The Inconsiderate Neighbor
The Inconsiderate Neighbor

By Elton Camp

It was two a.m. when I heard a knock
A visitor that early was surely a shock

To visit that early is extremely rude
Who could possibly be that crude!

I felt a considerable surge of alarm
Was it someone intending me harm?

Through the peephole I took a look
It was my neighbor, not some crook

But I won’t have anything mean to say
I was up playing my bagpipes anyway...

Knock Knock Knock
Knock, knock, knock!
A lover at the door
The other adjust his clothes
The handle turns their hearts

Knock, knock, knock!
An officer at the door
An eye on the peephole
The handle breaks apart

Knock, knock, knock!
A lawyer at the door
A lover in a gaol
The other with a get out of jail free card

Knock, knock, knock!
A mother at the door
The mother eyed the Judas whore
All her necklace and bracelets she took back...

Squeezing a wonderland of raw emotion through an isthmic delight

I giggle and wiggle like a tightening button at a peephole and despite

Twist turns and stitch ups my tack does not come loose at the seam

A dream weaver or seamstress in a flow of full consciousness stream

Until I don't know any longer if I am the needle my eye or the butt

Need slimming down at my round waistline or in two halves I'll be cut
