Who Am I?

The Elephant’s not elegant
The Hippo isn’t hip
The Antelope is not an Ant
The Camel’s not a ship
The Turkey isn’t Turkish
The fly is just a fly
Orang Utan is almost man
But tell me, who am I ?

Orang Utang Dear Friend

Oh Orang! Oh Utang!
I came from far to meet and greet you,
The man of old jungle, the name reveals you,
A cute creature human-like denotes,
Through gestures, funny looks
And innocent waving that make you laugh,
If you know how to approach and pat him,
You will be rewarded a touch and may be,
A cuddle,
At your own risk,
A surprise kiss could come like a zephyr,
Octopus-like glue!

Goodbye

Walk with me
blood moon,
I am very lonely today

like an orang-utan
at the very edge of lips
wants to know, where the forest will end.

In the last strip of land
they were surrounded.
Anytime they will commit mass suicide

to save the honour
of thighs and guns :
they will bite the glass capsules of cyanide.

Must I feel sadness ?
God, they are going to sleep in dust
without saying thank you.

Devilution

Before there was a thing called "Man"

The Maker had a better plan.

He filled he sea with little fish

Of every kind that He might wish.

Then He made the dinosaur

To rule the land from shore to shore.

Next came the monks, orang-otan.

Gorillas, and an ape called "Man".

Man is half God, and beast one half.

He writes his own grim epitaph.

The Maker thinks, "Next time the plants?

Not yet, until I've tried the ants".

Deserted

Deserted

Wake me up when the twilight has left
When everyone falling asleep
And the world is resting

So I can be aside for awhile
on how muted I am in crowds
on how useless my existence between human lives

Sepi

Bangunkan aku saat senja pergi
Saat semua orang terlelap
Dan saat dunia beristirahat

Hingga bisa kulupakan
Betapa sunyinya aku diantara keramaian
Betapa sampahnya aku diantara kehidupan
