Train and Plane
If I must be plain
The popularity of a Train
Had begun to wane
And to skyrocket that of Plane
Airports sweeping lots of gain,
With little or no strain:
Billions of dollars in the main;
In case of Nigeria: Naira Rain:
A Lion complete with Kingly mane,
Though Air Disaster their combative bane....

TIME OF THOUGHT- Lost
DATE OF THOUGHT-Lost
Naira

Most sought after Naira is now in her gone glory
The beggar despise her even on the street of her Country
Oh! who is gonna rescue her?
Like a rag, her ten borns surfers
The foreign currencies are now loved more than before
Anyone to rescue Naira out there....

Ode To Sister
Wiggle jiggle giggle
A country band your worth
My naira devalued;
I hired none
But accept my song;
My songs in word like lullaby
.
At night,when soul dies
When stream bubbles;
absent of unseen mind.
You stream like blood
Ode to you
.
To you,my unseen sister
Lurking in soul like ghost
Accept my signal,cometh ye now
In dark and lone, dwell in me
Like Tonto and the ranger
You are distal to Kemosabe
Ode to YOU....

Music Met Madness
callous crest grows
into crumbling crescendoes
lost bounty balance
to moaning coda
wielding wanky melody -
smoldering mystic symmetry

punctured contractions pianissimo
bleeding concerto grosso
drowning dainty diapason

sour lyrics smirks
squashing salient thirst
jumpy jazz jerks

music met madness
turbulent twain wedded.

Note: Dedicated to artiste like Nigerian Naira Marley, who fixes s into beats in the name of music....

The Visitor.
Heartened by perfumes of Arabia
Alhaji salaams,
on the scented grassland of Naira notes.

Ivory-toothed, his illiterate wives
fart noxiously,
to and fro the market,
in leather-cushioned Honda series;

where depair and desolation
sadden
all the greens of the Niger-Delta.
Life is but a walking shadow,
where the milk streams.

How folly of the Nigeria in all of us!
Of you and i that `siddon look',
How much breathe lived in each look?
How much time is come and gone?...

Political Madness
Political madness
Bitter as the honey,
Slower than the speed of light;
Words were thrown just like the chairs,
Vipers displaying just for a few Naira notes,
Shouts of motion and counter motion filled the air.

The loud mouths have a free day,
Pictures and images were displayed to show this
Sassy drama which wins a nomination for an Oscar,
The spectators watch with grieve and heavy hearts,
While the actors laugh and smile with impunity,
Insanity reigns whether in upper room or lower room....
