To Your Knees

Life brings you to your knees that’s what it does. When it does then you stand up strong and wiser and you move on . On my knees I find refuge from heartache and disappointments. When I fall, I don’t break I just bend but i bend enough to know the difference between survival or revival , it’s physical and spiritual . If we go far enough and don’t give up you will find love, joy and freedom.

A Child

A Child
By Margie Anne Bernard

The gift of a child
is a blessing from above,
placed in a parent's arms
to be cherished and loved.
With his or her first cry,
of unspoken words
comes a message so simple,
'I need to be heard'.
He or she never asks for much
only to be fed and nurtured
with a kind gentle touch.
A child will follow in your footsteps
in the wisdom of your years.
Please walk this child through laughter,
not unanswered tears.
