Deflated Raft 1 and 2
Deflated Raft 1 and 2 – Haiku

     Deflated Raft 1

air depleted, sigh
rubber flat, spinning chaos
raft takes on water

     Deflated Raft 2

floats on cold water
flat, under maelstroms great weight
watch the raft turn, sink...

In the Question Is the Answer
What is She?

She is a thought.
an urge to go inside
where eyes go blind.

Where is She?

She is here, a loadstone
in the spinning wheels

To chase away clouds of despair.

And when we sail stormy waters;
As the maelstroms of life
Rage and threaten to drag us down,
Friends are a harbor of LOVE and PEACE....

Nocturne Reverie
Flowers drawn in blood and ink,
littering the floor like sand.
Window lit with summer moon,
showing my failures and faults.
I smear my flowers across the linoleum with stained hand,
withered from the pale light.
I have seen the maelstroms,
thick with alcohol lightning.
I know the skies,
with their archipelagos of stars.
It has all brought sweet madness,
violet and lilac rainbows.
Lifting my dreamy eyes towards the ceiling,
I surrender to the tempest I only imagined....
