Sleep

I can not sleep now
To many thoughts in mind
Can not sleep at all
I have tried for hours
Yet I toss and turn

What can I do
How can I sleep
Turn off the thoughts
Let me get sleep

That is it
I will write
Until I sleep

How long
How many

SLEEP

Fleeting Days

She drifts in the Sea of Apathy,
floats in the vast Ocean Of Ennui,
for life she's lost the capacity,
only in sleep she finds herself free.

Reality she has rejected,
fleeting days are too swift to embrace,
in sleep she feels safe and protected,
life's troubling and too hard to face.

Disengaged, distant and absent,
precious moments are passing her by,
her soul is a chamber of torment,
even she cannot understand why.
