There's at girl who always frowns
She looks so sad she starts to cry
The girl who frowns looks just like me...
How can that be
I think awhile and start to see
The girl who frowns is really...
....Me
Form:
I am the girl who pulls stupid stunts
I am the person you will text all day
I am the lady who is maybe too blunt
I am woman who does it her way
I am girl who will jump into the fight
I am the person who longs to be free
I am the lady who always has to be right
I am the woman, this human is me
The independent girl walks alone
and flips her own pages
she can't help that she experiences
sadness in so many different stages.
She hates that with independence
comes a lot of lonely nights
as she tosses and turns in bed
her pockets maybe swollen
but she has nothing holding
her tight.
A soft caress this girl craves
more than anything else
she'd give up all the wealth
to not be by herself.
I am, a seventeen year old girl with something to say, so listn up kay?
I am more than your aveerage girl
wiser than your average female
smarter than your average teen
I am prettyer than your girl friend
thicker than you sister
and sit on a pedel stool like a queen
I love to read,laugh,and sing
but theres more to me than what seems
I am short and pretty
hot and kniky
and freaky beyond all means
I am the girl in the sweater
Hoping for things to get better
I am the sad girl on thanksgiving
Wondering why those who are not living
were not beside her in this life
Thirty-one days and she still cries
I am the girl lying on the ground
Wishing for what is not found
I am the girl crying late at night
Hoping and wishing he just might
come back and finish this off
so I wouldn't be the girl wishing to be Gone.
Form:
Tell me what you see
When you think of me.
Frail and fragile,
Or fearless and fighting.
I’m not a force
To be reckoned with
But just a feeble attempt at
Functionality and survival.
Just a girl with every intention
In the world to make sense
But just painfully misunderstood
And misused.
Just a sweet girl whose heart
Has been abused one too many times.
Do you see me at all?
Do you see what I want you to see
Or do you really see me?
My child's addiction
By John B Scott
Is this what you really want ?
Numbing your pain with pills and booze
A little girl with ballerina dreams
But addiction is what you choose.
A beautiful girl with hope in her heart
Scarred from mans indecent ways
Abused and used shame took your fight
Life's truths have torn you apart.
Sobriety awaits for you my dear
Reach out your hand and try
I will be with you through thick and thin
My daughter the apple of my eye.
