The headline read: “Low deposits and fair repayments!”
The offer of a lifetime, the promise of a lifeline for you and those you love.
But “deposits” aren’t just in money when we’re low in depositing care,
“repayments” still reek of capitalism when many don’t see their “fair” share.
The advertisement seared in bold font and burning lettering,
reminding us to always want more – there’s nothing worse than settling.
It was there
In the pinnacle of that darkly moment
From within all sectors that comprised the universe
That years and years on I had yet to know…
Its secrets were embellished in fancy lettering
Skyjacked by great shock I was
Before the effects consumed my well being
I scrutinized the shape of which I had taken
Finding myself that fully clothed within trench coat of riddles
To neither of the questions had I obtained the answer
Only a wink of desire
An obvious thing is what you decide,
but a pious cling is what you reside.

Yea, I have heard the lot of your wail in near cot,

Strewn mounds of decomposed fallen trees below
Cool nature's spirit aspirating showers
