and flashing drums
lack complement
of the roaring
imminence of
poetic bills,
paying with moisturised
beggar hands....

Some forced comets
Come from hidden airy tents
Blowing resonant trumpets;

A violent tiff is raging:
Some natural stars are falling

Like a wary young triton
Another comet comes: alone!
She comes to this bear-garden
Singing the imminence of nature’s return....
