Time the lies were finally binned
Greedier needier leaders grinned
Pacts who the facts have spinned
Scorched earth torched & skinned
Fossil fuel fools acts have sinned
Renewable is doable hopes pinned
As some resources haven’t thinned
We will always have sunshine & wind
Mother Nature does scowl
At greedier leaders howl
As our planet we do foul
Seedier media on the prowl
Don’t throw in the towel
We now live cheek by jowl

Or return to bombastic peak

At the meek did growl
A rebuild we all seek
Let’s get out the trowel
Is the world shrinking into an Orwellian nightmare
Where we are controlled and no longer dare
To be different from others in this world
With what the Internet and Facebook says is what is held
And leaders who look to control us to take over this media
With Presidents taking to Twitter to feed it ever greedier
Kim Il Jong becomes Big Brother in a Stalinist shadow
Where he wants the world to finally to him bow.
