Consciousness contracting
Illusionary demons sear
In dark shadows cowering 

Cause being our attachment
To that that is impermanent 
Self blocking bliss contentment 
Stagnating in gluey sediment

around which life orbits
we look at shifting tides
cajoling us to enter trance
that forgetting our source
we dwell in the matrix
but now free from desire
no gluey thought arises
and thus we remain still
at peace in the light of Self
renewing itself within us
as humming bliss magnetism 
dissolving time and space...

No risk of finger snaps 
fool-proof, with gluey flaps...
Mouse does not die; but he's kept in place. 

Eyes beg for mercy, what do I do?
rain bucket handy offers a clue.
Mouse caught in sticky trap;
submersion, it’s a wrap.

that soul may be free
requires silence to untether
fickle heart from our mind tree

when heart murmurs be gentled
and no craving within remains
weary soul is freed at last
from ego’s gluey chains

thoughts may appear
as objects we do not own
they beseech our indulgence 
but our soul prefers to walk alone

our mind-body vessel has its need
so we tend to it from time to time
but for the most part we feed
soul with bliss beats chime...
