It’s not our world anymore, there's more than just you and me
But there wasn’t when we carved our names into that tree.
My beautiful squishy heart, is squeezed by loving hands, that hold me very delicately.
My beautiful squishy heart, is full of longing and love for you. Everyday it cries out your name.
Beneath every roses,
I searched for your petal...
That last leaf is my respite,
You are a beauty in my heart...
The soil that shed my tears,
Created that lost rose...
That last leaf is my respite,
You are a beauty in my heart...
Beneath every hearts,
I searched for my soul...
A last respite in my heart.
My least favorite mistake
That's what you are
What a dumb heart ache
This has gone too far
Maybe its a consequence
For all the heartbreak i inflicted
But don't have so much confidence
They weren't that afflicted
A real jerk is what you are
I've never felt like this before
A first love worst than tar
I guess i was an easy score
My lips have felt so cold, since you left.
My hands seem so heavy, since you left.
My skin feels so dirty, in need of touching by your hands, since you left.
My heart feels so lonely, since you left.
My eyes keep on searching for the reassuring sight of your eyes since you left.
And yet, when you were here, they all screamed for you to leave.
Oh, I want to go back
To when forever was possible
When I was still falling asleep on your couch
When our only fears were of monsters in the dark
When we would get so mad at our parents for not letting us have sleepovers
I miss you so much it physically hurts
But I would go through the pain
Over and over
I’d embrace the tears spilling like ink from my pen
If we could just be us again.
Why would you waste my time
My effort poured on you
I give you all my energy,
But you dont follow through
You stop sending me messages,
leaving me without a clue
How am I supposed to know
That your feelings are not true
I like you more then a friend
But I won’t go tell my mum
As soon as she knows of you then
she thinks that your the one
If you go trippin out on me
then that’s it now your gone
If your planning on ghosting me
Then just leave now we’re done.
Distant from rest,
our love wasn't the rain ,
not thunder nor quake ,
it resided in profound silence,
to the extent of hearing eachother's thoughts,
Like echoes blending into one,
In these moments ,
found solace and grace ,
a language of Whispers,
Like secret trysts.
But I ruined it all ,
draining the hues from your eyes ,
yours eyes once vibrant ,
now stained with stories unsaid ,
all I glimpsed was blurry lines ,
that's the end of us ,
a love that can't be whole .
Inside,
the walls of a rotting
log cabin,
situated in the piney woods,
you lie situated on me, adorning my
neck with soft summer kissings.
While
I pull dandelion
fluff up and out of your
hair.
Cypselae,
that’s what the seeds
are called,
miniature fruits that grant
wishes.
As far as wishes go,
this is my greatest.
As far as fruit goes,
everyone knows what happened
to Eden.
Eve, I diminished our
love into atoms.
And the cabin lays rotting
there still.
Have you heard
the one about the
birds and the
bees?
I never much liked
it myself, because it
soured the taste of
our innocence.
Or maybe our
innocence soured
the taste of us.
So much for happy endings,
and so much for love.
So much for innocence,
and so much for us.
You’re an old slow dance.
You’re an old song.
And if I’m being
honest—
I still think back to that
time I slow danced with
your decaying love in
my palms.
And it still
makes me
smile.
