Premium Member The Days Fly By
   The days fly by
     one and the same
   too busy to pause
     to earn their own name

   Unearthly winds
     sweep moments away
   into dustbins of perdition
     painted colorless gray...

Paradise
Persons finished with last breath rest in peace
All good souls become choirs of adoration
Royalty, earthly power left in dustbins here
All bodyguards and servants expelled
Direct communication to earth a taboo
Inmates talk without talking
Satan’s deception and conspiracy thwarted
Earthly pleasures and sorrows left in clouds...

Sometime, Somehow
The highest human honour
to the dead
is to put them away
in glorified dustbins
when their presence
makes no more sense
to the living.

When Death strikes,
let no one
make a fortune
of the victim's misfortune.

Death you heard
struck somewhere
lays an ambush
for all of us.
Sometime,somehow
something is sure
to walk someone

The Forgotten Spaceman
Lunar eclipse plunges me in shadow.
Orbital, I spin in the dark.
Nebulas, I am insignificant amongst many,
Extra-terrestrial, alone and apart.
Limbic, I drift with creation.

Severance, I have never felt so keenly,
Screaming, cart-wheeling, into the dark....

Coloured Dustbins
Coloured dustbins.

A sun beats down increasing thoughts to fly;

as waves look so dark blue then they crash in the sky;

future amused me when the clocks walk through my eye;

a shambles of concrete on roman roads that want to die;

the fields are a haven once everywhere full of rye;

a place full of coloured dustbins because we never thought why;

a job in an office with a window to remind him there's a world passing by....

Night People
Neon fingers
banish the remnants of the day
Dustbins loiter ominously
blurry eyed
The Night people slide in between
Sailor doom bewitched by sorceresses
as heckled men face electric spears

Stet the occasion
A drawbridge opens
staining the gangster day
Outstretched palms
preclude the day

Jewelled ghost trains
ordinately take you
further away

Velvet dolls with a brainy side
watch stale commissioners slide
Star  clad ingénues infuriated evermore...
