two little words
words with which my heart dies
ripped from my chest
stabbing pain
an ache
a hole I thought was filled
how can they affect me so
why does nothing hold hope
nothing waits for me
two words a brutal knife
stabbing me
killing all that was gained
two words you spoke
I'm out of things to say.
For no one cares, no one listens.
My words are there.
But ears and minds around me,
are closed.
I write so my words can be seen.
But still minds are closed.
They say they care,
but I'm dieing,
and they're watching.
Not trying to fix,
just watching and waiting.
I write,
for i have no other way.
The wind wrapped around me like a quilt,
Flooding in and out through my pores.
Hands pressed deep into my chest, toes curled over the edge, I prayed,
I prayed that this would end. One small leap.
I screamed words of tragedy, words of despair, words that passed my thoughts to you
As loud as there are planes, as loud as there are trains.
There was no one to hear but the vultures
That waited for my carcass to drop from the skies.
