Twinkle Irma Survovors

Joe Rogan Tribute Limerick Chain
Slicing up boxes and rules
arming people and giving them tools;
Master of his space,
Mind like a database;
He’s taking the media to school;
On fire, he exhales motivation,
platform built on imagination;
Master of his space;
Mind like a database;
Any wonder some fear Joe Rogan?...

Synapses
They are removing the last part of me that is human
A terminal in Mumbai,
one of the first,
delved deep into my database.
I felt it.
I feel everything they do.
The messages whizz around.
They did not know!
I’ll hide;
I’ve hidden things before;
important things.
They know nothing....

Lest We Forget
Lest we erase the database of war that brought "grace"
Lest we smite wars slight, the one that gave us our "right"
.........
Bow your heads in prayer and wear a poppy with pride
Bow your heads in prayer and thank them for their stride.
Lest we forget we have a debt to those we never met...

Eternally Etched
This slice of time and space
Will barely register a trace
In the historical database
Don't discard it to be erased
Slow down the chaotic pace
Replace the chase with faith
Interlace gratitude with grace
To embrace all that we face
Our story will be encased
In the core of the human race
Live with no regrets or haste
Since steps can't be retracted...

Sign of the Times
Well, the gray lady’s losing her ‘shine’.
It seems Wordle had crossed party lines.
The puzzle to greet us
contained the word ‘fetus’,
They aborted the word; it’s all fine.
----------
The New York Times removed the word 'fetus' from their Wordle database so they could remain 'distinct from the news'.

Disgusted
My heart is so heavy
My stomach feels like a rock
Americans are being silenced
And they are afraid to talk!
A letter went to people all over the country
Threatening Trump Supporters today
Saying they will be put in a database
And targeted if they vote this way!
Also, several people in New Hampshire received letters
Threatening to burn their houses down!
I’m telling you, it is out of control
I am disgusted by hatred from town to town!
