Our Glasses

violent earth
shaking the trust
spilling chalices
of boiling blood
remnants of forbidden
memories spring
our glasses are half
full or empty
we decide
shades of orange
and yellow on
my closed
retinae

It's not physical cold,
Nor the hunger, bold;
It's lack of human dignity,
And their psychic malignity;
Turns chalices of our nights,
Wilder than wild-beast bites...

We R Preparing the Crib For the Aborted Foetus

pulling the curtain
of life they blend
to the pink flesh
crouching kneeling
jumping in frenzy
different perspectives of
confusing contorted figures
of inherent loneliness
polished
birds are flying forgetting
their directions
poison in golden chalices
chariots of sun sinking
in the heart of the
muddy earth
we are preparing the crib
for the aborted foetus

Blush
fair skies
mist Sol-kissed
citrine seduced
mimosa clouds bask
dreamy in champagne light

golden-god’s sparkle fills
chalices roused and
rouged as poppies
hail dawn with
unfurled
whorls
