not to be confuse with smooth around a fire pit

Cacao kisses caress the cheek
cocoa nails, polished feet

Chocolate cake, hot and rich
Fudge syrup, sloppy kiss

Truffle lotion oh so edible
chocolate makes everything sweeter...

Premium Member Milking It
While others give grief, a chocolate milk cow often stutters, and how! In her udder relief, she utters “ca-cow” while producing cacao, tells the nutters, Ciao, ciao. Not one to chew fat, a crow in the know tells her, no, it’s cocoa but she says he’s loco, and a raven, at that.

Premium Member Cacao Tree
Blossoms like orchids, waxy white
Waiting for pollen's lore
Producing those bean pods purple
Chocolate treats galore

Green, yellow, red, purple grooved pods
Ebony dark the seeds
Bitter the natural flavor
Desire has acquired a need

Planted 'neath fine cacao tree
In death feast 'pon dark seeds
Bitter the pulp very toxic
Theobromine just feed...

Dichotomy
My job is in the office,
My bread is in the kitchen,
Yet it haunts me as
My life I am losing.

My dream tells me so -
The only way to vision her
Long brown hair.
Autumn, wood, cacao, seeds.

My clothes are in the closet,
My neighbours next door,
Still this plague wins
Called loneliness.

Ghosts in their chilly houses
Seem a relative now.
Not too special a day
Was Hallow’s eve....

My Broma
I fell in love at first sight with THEO
Unable to understand my desire
Together only once in a while
Too young to know about loves fire

So different than any other
The food of the gods I couldn't tame
I soon began to call her BROMA
Which I discovered was her middle name

My love an eternal obsession
Too strong now to ever confine
Even though CACAO is beautiful
I'd sure change that last name to mine!...

Premium Member The Chocolaterie
Pillows of cacao,
webs of spun sugar hold you;
Chocolate cocoon,
it soothes your lips with a sweet;
Your sigh tightens with each taste;

After hours boost,
that pick me up melts the wounds
dragging through your mind;
The past remains behind you
thanks to a euphoric fix;

With a hyperactive smile
so high on those endorphins
you’re buzzing, humming;
Seduced with a single drop
of the chocolaterie....

Poetry and popcorn.

I'll take mine warm,
popping over a slow burner,
not with hot air.
Buttered up,
salty and full of fat.

Poetry and chocolate.

I'll take mine sweet,
not sugar-coated.
100% cacao.
No artificial flavors,
no artificial sweeteners, please.

Poetry and a picture show.

I'll take mine free,
with lines that keep moving
for a reason,
for a rhyme.

I'll take mine simple
in black and white.
Torn pages, a ticket stub
in my book
of memorable scraps ......
