Cotton candy, so fluffy and soft
Sugar that floats, sticking on throat
Color that bloats, sailing like boat
My sweet hands, grubby like groft

Enclosed Rhyme
Between palings
spiders mating, grope.
Sixteen limbs wait
envenomation; she
eats his dreams,
bloats,
so swinging
spiderlings think
of nothing.

on tip of a wisp
as it bevels and bloats
streamlined scribbles etching a note
upturned waves collapsing
in cotton bobs
greys and embers mating a mistake
ethereal tendril veins knitting patters undone
phoenix fogs missed mist
of almost pink

A paper carton
bloats in the fridge,
its manufactured nutrients
stretched thin as a lie.
I pour it down the drain.
The disposal gurgles
back its curdled skin,
a sour hymn rising
through the pipes,
fumes of expiration
smelling like post-partum
nightmares.
Amen.

Write words well
Truth time tells
Feel fun fest
Quit ***** quest
Meet mind map
Sense sweet sap
Taste true test
Rip rough rest
Craft calm cheer
Dance dream dear
Joy joins jest
Blame bloats best
Spice sweet stretch
Meet meek match
Loud lines leap
Prompt play peeps

Luna light floats
Misty dusk calls,
Aura now bloats
As moonbeams fall.
Day fades away
As cold air churns,
A touch now strays
As frost can burn.
By window sight
I watch moon glow,
In mystic flight
That glimpses show.
A lonely feel
Comes with odd surge,
A restless will
Can humble urge.

No last words
Silence screams
Life pulse gone
Strange sense dawns
No more fuss
Still form here
Cold air bloats
Death now floats
A cold strange
Touch feels numb
Mind in shock
Tact takes stock
Shock spreads gist
No more cage
Rest In Peace
In new lease
Word unsaid
No more dread

An all-night rain: the smell
of sogged-down leaves and woods
stirs up feral urges: to tramp
the wetness like a snouted creature,
kicking up dead leaves, poking
deep for squirming things, sniffing
earthy scents for spongy roots,
gulping down mushrooms
with black grit, the bristly haired
skin taut and wet, until the belly
bloats and sags, generating heat
like a boiling cauldron.

Narrative
Pain knows
What pain shows
Joy lights
What joy sights
Hope curls
What hope hurls
Sight frames
What sight names
Faith feels
What faith heals
Love dreams
What love streams
Hurts fling
What hurts bring
Name floats
What name bloats
Call seeds
What call feeds
Voice strains
What voice stains
Pain lifts
What pain sifts

To gain
Bear pain
Now don't you fear
Hold on to cheer
Hope floats
Joy bloats
Old dreams now rust
Empty like dust
Lost wit
Strange fit
Dare to be brave
Know faith that saves
Feel then
Just when
Frame your clear poise
Style your sure voice
Keep still
Wise will
Love fashions plain
Dream once again
Sculpt then
New plans

The crazed obsession
to rule the lives of others
rends the ruler's humanity
into tatters,
feeds, fills and bloats
his overweening vanity,
deludes the ego
with invincibility.
But stripped of his mask,
the tyrant shall fall apart
for pomp and vainglory hide
a sham, hollow heart
of a cursed, cowering canine
that creeps to crawl
through labyrinthine caves
of what's left of his soul!

Face sad find:
Toxic kind
Feel the fake
Break odd take
Guile now bloats
In mad gloat
Twist to turn
Pain that churns
Words tell lies
On the sly
Shift shape pile
With fake smile
Odds grind ends
To cast blend
Feel the mood
Bad makes good
Time to moan
Mind wild groans
Much too much
Strikes that touch
Toxic kind:
Blind leads blind

A mother’s gift that’s left
Upon her infants milky breath, laying
Cradled in rest upon her breast with
Besotted silence popping little hiccups til
Sitting up
With puffy cheeks and silky lips
Blowing oily bubbles whilst
Looking through eyelids a flutter with
Sleepy dust and whispering
Their love beyond quiet deprivation
As lazy sleep bloats about the room
To land on eyelids fat with dreams
Of snuffling snores
And suckled joy.

How can something so small steal your heart away?
Running, Playing the excitement.
Purring, rubbing your face.
Curled around the neck night after night.
Heart filled with love.
Laughter, smiles, playing.
Belly bloats, blood flows.
Sleeping more still wrapped around the neck at night.
Heart turns to pain listening to cries.
Days pass weaker and weaker.
Nothing but tears, hole in the heart.
Fresh dirt tears bounce off.
How can something so small steal your heart away?

Misty moon climbs high
In the dark night sky
Dreamy moods like mists
Loiter in strange gist
Late evening bloats
As stray echoes float
A surreal sense wings
As chilly cold flings
Feel in the marrow
A certain hollow
Touch can feel so plain
A dreamy refrain
Words in brisk drip here
Juggle with stray cheer
Moonlight aura finds
Dreamy state of mind
Autumn in last dash
Chokes on wintry flash
