Jukebox
Just pop a dime in the
jukebox; select a song
judge it well to impress;
Jerry Lee, Jimmy H,
Joan Jet, Jungkook!? Jay-Z,
J. Cole? No, none of these.
Joan Baez - Hope I guessed right....

Joan Baez Rising Star With a Guitar
Joan Baez Rising Star With A Guitar
Joan Baez was great true rising star,
As she sang and played on her guitar;
My heart touch,
So very much;
In majestic music world went very far.

The Highway
The Highway
Bob Dylan, B. Marquardt-Alexander, Joan Baez
The Highway
The highway's a river, I'm a leaf adrift,
Tumbling, tumbling, no solid shift.
The canyon's son, a blessing I crave,

I Saw the Psychedelic Lights
I Saw The Psychedelic Lights ??
It came through in music
As well as in song
C’mon People Now
Let’s all get along

Oh...

Our glorious chant

Pete Seeger, Joan Baez,
Odetta, Peter, Paul and Mary
Bill Monroe, Johnny Cash,
Gordon Lightfoot, Ian and Sylvia
But the prize, the dream was
to see Dylan play Blowin’ In the Wind
acoustically.
The folkie purists were shocked,
the dream had died.
Dylan played Maggie’s Farm with an
electric guitar and their world came
to an end.

Senth and Wenth
Senth and Wenth
Where have flowers gone will wonder wenth,
And where and when and also maybe sinth;
Going through fields
Which flowers yields
Where I enjoyed picking my tenth hyacinth.
(For doing would I have to repenth
or maybe I have been pretty denth?)
James Thesarious Hilarious Horn
Retired Veteran and Poet
Thought about "Where Have All the Flowers
Gone," by Joan Baez.
Have you ever slurred your words before
then written them down in a poem like this
before?...
