I love not
That I ought
For I sought
What I had fought.
I hate aught
That I should not
For I forgot
What I besot.
John F Franks was self-aught
his still life is still well sought
Also known forhis portraiture
two popular genre for sure
~Thus Tues Of Thought's~
Thee ist'isn't what I Thought
It would Be, But it is, &
it isn't, . . . just Like
It aught to be . . . .
Eerie whoosh of subway train
aught but darkness in my brain
Let me sleep in starless fright
come the morn ~ Creation's light
Twitter was abuzz all night
at the breakdown of the right
in the morning aught was left
Who had played his cards so deft?
The groom should assume while he’s there,
He ought not say aught au contraire.
Polish your shoes,
Smile at all news,
Till one and a one are a pair.
C aught and snared
A nchored to a sharp hook
R ash choice of "food"
P roducing its' own demise
(rash in incautious of what it chooses to ingest)
There once was a dumb builder named jack
who put bricks on a sink in a stack
didn’t do what he aught ta
Now the floors full of water
A mistake that then got him the sack
Laying out by the pool, Jules was caught
wearing less than the rules said she aught
She was asked by the cop
why she'd cast off her top
Her reply? "it's s July and I'm hot"
C aught in the act after
R emoving our clothes.
I was absolutely, truly
M ortified I suppose.
S omehow I forgot to
O pen my eyes, to realise
N either had closed the curtains.
The left’s declared war on the right
The right’s declared war on the left
When they finish with each other
In the center aught will be left
Tautology aught to be taught as an ology
'cos an ology taught twice is tautology
Thinking about tonuge twisters
This was not twisty enough, but still interesting I thought !
my mind
is racing
i can feel
adrenalin
pumping
but i don't
drink coffee
but looking
beside myself
at the timing
right now 0513
there is no one
beside me so
i'm racing
against
myself

Monocrostic (Birthday of Shiellamay Teofilo)
Our life is but short
What we aught is clueless
If bend chosen is right
Bright future is definitely ordained
If wrong where do we belong !
From wrongs we learn lessons
Work we must towards goals.

Whatsapp Woes
I marvel at the morning dump,
Where innards churn, as a pump,
Where mighty thoughts,
Of what aught, and naught,
Get flushed into the Whatsapp sump!
A meeting spot
For thoughts to rot,
To raise a stink,
Smudge still-wet ink;
Cesspool of noxious broth!
In December of nineteen hundred and one,
Experts everywhere said it couldn’t be done.
In a piece in the North American Review,
The Navy’s chief engineer conveyed his view.
The brothers were wrong - man would never take flight,
But in aught-three, the world knew the brothers Wright.
Unwelcome shades of scorn, I despise
On this woeful night I slowly fade
Spears that pierce, I feel betrayed
Dismayed, I sorrowfully close my eyes
Resigned to the tempter’s whim
I woefully ask, for him to forgive
Yet I speak no whispers bid me live
Aught I lay waste to my grievous sins?
there not you
here we sit

i
am all
test me in silence
find my eyes speak
find our world weak
search beyond flesh
and
bone
what love
dripping from the morrow
find time un borrowed
rewind spools

there not you
?
I hold all my truths to be a nuisance.
I hold all my shortcomings to be a riddle.
Through smoke and fog of plenty I am blinded to that which I should fear but in pride I do not.
Comfort is a great hubris.
What distracts that which we deam pleasurable?
What cause can awake us.
Does it always have to be horrible?
Long day did finally pass;
toiled along vexing its morass.
Arrived back home to rest and retire;
energy and inspirations soon to expire.
Debrief my conceptions and thoughts;
queery my moves and those aught nots.
Lay at ease to stargazes and dreams;
job well done for me it seems.

Listen to poem:
Like a flash
I was beaten
Caught in the blink of an eye
Knowing not why I was so, so
Easily beaten
Till I saw the chain
You hooked on my behind.
Splutter and stumble
Puffed and spent
Losing the battle
I was hell bent
To win the reprisal
