Not Taut

I love not
That I ought
For I sought
What I had fought.

I hate aught
That I should not
For I forgot
What I besot.

He ought not say aught au contraire.

Whatsapp Woes

Whatsapp Woes

I marvel at the morning dump,
Where innards churn, as a pump,
Where mighty thoughts,
Of what aught, and naught,
Get flushed into the Whatsapp sump!

A meeting spot
For thoughts to rot,
To raise a stink,
Smudge still-wet ink;
Cesspool of noxious broth!

Premium Member The Right Brothers

In December of nineteen hundred and one,
Experts everywhere said it couldn’t be done.
In a piece in the North American Review,
The Navy’s chief engineer conveyed his view.
The brothers were wrong - man would never take flight,
But in aught-three, the world knew the brothers Wright.

Bid Me Live

Unwelcome shades of scorn, I despise
On this woeful night I slowly fade
Spears that pierce, I feel betrayed
Dismayed, I sorrowfully close my eyes
Resigned to the tempter’s whim
I woefully ask, for him to forgive
Yet I speak no whispers bid me live
Aught I lay waste to my grievous sins?

Why aught this

I hold all my truths to be a nuisance.
 I hold all my shortcomings to be a riddle.
Through smoke and fog of plenty I am blinded to that which I should fear but in pride I do not.
Comfort is a great hubris.
 What distracts that which we deam pleasurable?
 What cause can awake us.
 Does it always have to be horrible?

Inventory

Long day did finally pass;
toiled along vexing its morass.
Arrived back home to rest and retire;
energy and inspirations soon to expire.
Debrief my conceptions and thoughts;
queery my moves and those aught nots.
Lay at ease to stargazes and dreams;
job well done for me it seems.

Listen to poem:
Like a flash
I was beaten
Caught in the blink of an eye
Knowing not why I was so, so
Easily beaten
Till I saw the chain
You hooked on my behind.

Splutter and stumble
Puffed and spent
Losing the battle
I was hell bent
To win the reprisal
