I like it when you try to run
It just adds to the fun
You think that you're done
When you trip and fall on your face

You close your eyes
Thinking that you finally paid the price
Apologising for all the lies
But it's all quiet, and if me, you find no trace

You sigh a breathe of relief 
But don't slow down, because, and let me be brief
I want to cause you grief
So let's finish this race...

I'll find my feet

Yawning in my old tattered slippers

And my head in my hands

Apologising for dawn

Scorned by silence

Maybe tomorrow

Who knows 

I'll understand

And find my way back

Maybe tomorrow

I'll write

Maybe i'll while

About something new
or something blue

Maybe tomorrow i'll have
company

And will not feel the need to share

Or perhaps i'll just put my ears to
good use and listen for a while
