Unbolted Doorsill
A pristine ambit
Unlocks forepart to commence
Restored life events
Ameriolate happenings
Metamorphose forever...

Ambit
Encircled,
words shed gratuitously
from floored jaw.
Enriching,
ambit of deceits shroud,
wrapping your smile
in compliments halos.
Vixen verbs
slyly ambush objections.
A tactic of precision,
to melt your innocent mask
and conquest;
A smile upon my lips....

Zero Hour
It was night’s fury
whipping up hysteria
on specks of flames, dancing in pain.
On a heap of ashes
and bones where a child of death
will be born.
Before fading,
moon will kiss the golden thighs
of sun and think aloud
dying shirtless in intimate
ambit of sky.

Shadows of Obscurity
Here I stare
And sketch myself living
Timing every breath
But the clock remains still
Not a moment passes
An entire existence to spare
One complete
And nothing
Nowhere or time to go
Trapped here
In this ominous setting
Afloat in this once purgatory
Then once more and again
Impalpable designs charcoaled
Shading my ambit in silhouettes
Every turn I take muted
By the shadows of obscurity...

Seasonal Change
Seasonal Change
Autumn fades bring winter skies,
Gone the amber filtered clouds
The birds migrate, leave chill behind,
For warm up north a mate to find
Charcoal smoulders capture peaks
A mountain summit drools with cream
The lake reflects a mirror shine
As nature paints its own design.
For as the season takes its toll
Species adapt to nature's call
Believing this the hour glass be
In ambit await a new spring to see...

Skiff In a Low Place
The hull lolls,
anchored to a fouling current.
Juggernauts of heat sleep under a leaden sky,
bugs lurch and slow skirt.
I nod over my spine, afloat on a humming haze.
An osprey jumps out of a high ambit,
swooping fast.
I imagine a wind in the wake of its wings.
The bird dives, cleaves the light, arrow bright
parting the weight of these doldrums.
The wallowing skiff seems to shrug off the heavy air
as talons scoop up a wriggling fish
together with my up-lifted mind....

Frivolous
Motionless within the ambit
of moon,
the rain squirms and flickers
under the street light
in the vacuous silence
of a monolith.
A cricket walks on a cloud
and starts the lightning.
The urn was blind, fills up with grief.
The goddess climbs out of rainbow
and accepts the message
of fireworks.
After the pain, there was
frigidity. The lips will not move under
the mortgage of unvenerable words.
An innocent deal was brokered
with stings about the truth
of the wasp.
