Premium Member Dumb Lawyer Joke Limerick
Five dumb lawyers moved to Buenos Aires
Those attorneys simply couldn't care less
   They didn't speak Spanish
   Their livelihoods vanished
Verdict: "Our law schools didn't prepare us!"...

Disappeared
No note,
the bed unmade,
the milk, imprisoned in plastic,
left to grow solid on the kitchen table.
Winter’s gray made me insane, and
so I flew on steel wings to Buenos Aires,
where the air is humid and smells of unwashed
sins, and the angry sun beats down
on oceans of grass,
and the red wine flows,
numbing my Yankee brain....

My Sign
What's your sign?
Aires, Libra, Pisces....
Stop, Yield, or Merge....
Did you ever get the urge?
To change your bloody sign?....
Then you've got to hear mine!
It's "Push Down and Twist!"
Some clown could not resist,
To hang it from my neck,
Oh, what the heck!!
Who put it there, I wonder,
God, or me, or all my ex-wives?
Slappin' five, and twisting knives?...

Listen to poem:
The fragrance of an open bottle, ~~numbs,
It aires a room resigned to fulfillment,
Impatience dealt some wayward errant doves,
Carries them to moor like patient children,
Obeisance for 'tis nature that they delves,
Buries their heads fore flights of fluttering,
A floor draped in white feathers, winds bundles,
Door burst, shoos, closed windows, seals a bottle.

I Hear
I hear the dull moans of a malignant class

as classes clash and drones drone on

 Electronic wizards wrack, whack, whack

merrily on their way to a zombie-like state.

Loathing lies and jumbo surprises belie

 aires, stares and convenient alignments

welding together a mangled mass of fluff

certain to shift us toward a boorish fall

                            of great proportions...
