Bessie’s Da Girl For Mi!
D’ars she blows dat horse of a whale!
Only Tashtego might spear a mighty whale like’er!
Mi eye’s seeing spots from seeing the blasted sun all mi days on dis ship,
But mi leaves on the next shore,
An’ I’m nere coming back on this ship O’ demons,
Until I kisses mi sea hag of a woman, Bessie!
She’s da shine of mi eye and de lift of mi sails,
And she’s got a might round and wide tail too!
Bessie’s da girl for mi da Man O’ Da Blue Wavy Sea!
