Premium Member Resting

Resting deep into dreams,
my future is at stake,
lost is my present !

Eluding realism,
eyes fastened,
alive to memories !

Lovely moonlit night,
a walk along the road,
hand in hand !

Making haste to reach,
and celebrate a meet,
sitting close !

Moments of togetherness,
enlightened hearts,
resting in peace !

Sweet past,
circulates and recirculates,
feeds on soul !

Aurora of twilight,
days and nights,
unaware resting !

Slipping out of his mind,
memories yet echo,
hopes evaporate !

No desire to wake up,
I am no more than,
a dead corpse!

Worms crawl within,
Till I am eaten up whole,
Zeroed in rest !

Till my blondes turn grey,
and colors of life fade,
twilights turn dark,
and beauty wrinkles,

His one hearty call,
I await getting up,
look alive,
alive and kicking !
