An Interview With A Departing Member
An Interview With A Departing Member
Me: So I guess the glove didn't fit here at PS
DM: It did. But I was tired of wearing mittens
DM: I need to stretch my hands to a bigger venue
DM: Leather would be nice
Me: Well, in all honesty, you sound like me
Me: Did the anonymity, darkness, and lack of views get to you
DM: It did. It was like I was shadow dancing with myself here
DM: I think A Horse Without a Name had more views than I
Me: Hmm. It looks like we had a lot in common
Me: So what do you share with your admirers
DM: Well, a flower blossoms when there's an abundance of sunlight
DM: And in contrast, a shunned flower loses its stems and petals
Me: Hmm
Me: That sounds prophetic and perceptive
Me: Did you see that Skat A and Poet Destroyer A had tons of light
DM: I did
Me: And did you see their sudden and sad departures, too
DM: I can't speak for them, though ... I thought they were off the charts cool
DM: Well, I guess what you can take from that ... is one glove doesn't fit all
Me: Any fond memories
DM: A bowl of soup touched the spot here, yet my appetite hungers
DM: Goodbye. Happy trails.
Me: Goodbye. Here's to your finer dining

Not for contest. I think its better not to dilute a sponsors contest with a poem
that goes against the sites grain
