Spider grandmother
Weaver of the web,
Whispers to the hummingbird ;
"Fly little one, set your wings
Upon this world of darkness.
Replenish the oil
Much needed today.
Increasing the frequency,
Allowing understanding
Too grow and bloom like flowers,
In fields discontent
Choking at the roots."
Irridescent plumes
Fly upon it's task.
Sweat droplets from intense heat ;
Spread like oil upon water.
Vibrant, rainbowlike colours,
Auroras of light
Beaming brightly strong,
Spread above the world below
Creating veils within veils,
Supporting and concealing ;
All what's needed most,
Silencing the false.
The sun never ceases to blossom here
Right where I stand
On the lofty heights of Ladera
Like biblical Moses
Watching the promised land
I love to observe the sun at dawn
Building patterns of golden rays
Like a rainbow
Cascading from heights of Ladera
To the fountains of Fox Hills
City of the rising sun
Masks of different planets
Black, brown, white, yellow
In a rainbowlike pattern
The fresh smell of the poor and rich
Rolling across in their towncars and Oldsmobiles
Land of hope, City of Angels
L.A. is God's gift to mankind!
