Bad News Or No News
By: Tom

It seems we’re drawn to negative news,
like a moth attracted to flame.
It always comes with contrasting views,
but called by a different name.

It’s hard being positive in a negative world,
sadly, I fear this won’t be altered.
Any feel good stories seldom get unfurled,
when speaking voices are paltered.

“The everyday kindness of the back roads
more than makes up for the acts of greed
in the headlines.”
Charles Kuralt
