The magic of mythical Excalibur
pulls her to enter an ethereal realm
unknown but for aromatic scent of myrrh
and ancient paths leading through ancient winged elm
toward destiny she understands by dreams
of long ago and now the sword she seeks gleams
with power, beauty, glory enough to stir
to life her evil twin: Black Excalibur.
Her dreams of love were ordained to never be
by the Fates immortal hidden tapestry~
in lifetime’s comedy and tragedy she
seldom stopped to think of what was travesty
in her society where magic is ruled
a folly or a bedtime story mewled
to keep the children thinking those fairytales
always have a happy ending without fails!
