Wendy's most famous advertisement that went viral
this ad disrespectfully put down other chain's hamburgers
Indicating their meat patties were small
soon a catch phrase for the 1984 Presidential election
makig fun of Gary Hart and Walter Mondale
Nashville songwriter DJ Coyote McCloud made it into a song
this catch phrase was "on fire" in the US for a long time
my children used it to poke fun of everything unlikeable to them.
this commercial was hilarious featuring an older lady Clara Peller
she had the perfect face and expression to pull it off
the McCloud brothers stood back to back
shooting at the approaching villains
two of their cousins ran out with guns to help
when the shooting was all done, six lay dead
When you pin a star on McCloud, you get six
Mill town knew that when they hired their new sheriff
Moustaches are now out of fashion
For they have lost their toughness notion
Just think of the 70s the tough guys all had them
Remember McCloud, Barney Miller and Magnum
Now you need a charity purpose worth growing
Instead just tough, stately and all knowing!
When considering it all for today
For me it’s all baldness and grey
Alas the time of the moustache has passed
For my moustache the dye has been caste
I remember it all so fondly but now I must say
As a **** star I think you would all run away
