His stories are out-of-this-world, the teacher says, in a huffy way.
Steven King, I think.
Another teacher slides into an empty seat beside me. “He exaggerates everything.”
Robin Williams I think.
The teacher across from me flips her hair and brags, “Her behavior is off the wall.”
Pink I think.
“She sings all the time,” says another. The lunchroom is on a roll today, wanting me to fix children.
Lady Gaga I think.
“The only thing he thinks about is basketball,” another teacher says as she walks in from her smoke break. A break they have to drive fifty feet from the school to have, but still she brings smoking pores in here, and I am an asthmatic.
Michael Jordan I think.
“He claims spirit is talking to him,” the principal says.
Prove it is not spirit, I think.
She catches my eye, turns and leaves; we are best friends, and she knows how I feel about spirit.
Knife goes chopping with the beat,
on the mint which scent so sweet,
Rice arborio n' boiling heat,
Rocking rythm in my feet.
Robbie Williams on my radio,
My spoilt dog stretched in the patio,
Whilst i cook ,clean and sweep,
She is snoring fast asleep.
Washing floors,doing all chores,
In the oven,hot bon bons.
Ow.my God,Its getting late,
sheets are waiting to be layed,
Ironed skirts and steaming shirts,
burnt my finger,Ouch it hurts!
Some ice will have to do,
bumped my head, and turned out blue,
No time for me to feel so sorry,
Swollen head,No time for worry.
Ran upstairs in a breakdance,
to sit down, there's not a chance.
Jumping quickly in the shower,
whilst regaining some cat power,
tick tock-tick tock goes the clock,
there's no time for happy hour.
Brushed my teeth,High Heels in feet,
some perfume and a light treat.
All is ready, all is well, got my keys
texted a pal,Once again ding-dong,
the bell,at this moment,Who's the hell?
It's my neighbour from next door,
melts my ice. He's not a bore,
Cos Of him I'm running late,
guess my boss will have to wait.
Come on in,I said to him,
His left foot already in,
Handsome guy with a huge grin,
Sugar man,One man to win.
What Will i offer him ? a coffee?
I hadn't any beer,Some wine?
or some orange with gin?
Time was pressing in,
Called at work and did a sin,
Called my boss,I faked a fever,
So much thanks,She's a believer.
Smelled some pepper,started
sneezing,My boss's answer
was so pleasing,"Stay at home,
Get well dear,Lots of love and
tender care,don't come close,
No need to share,bye,bye dear".
Problem solved,so wisely done,
Neighbour joined me in the garden,
so relaxed licking the Sun.
Ate lunch and had dessert,
He's a darling and a flirt,
After followed with more fun,
On my sofa,One ON One.

(This is all fiction, apart for the busy routine! My neighbours are good
old neighbours too,and Im loyal to my boss, just in case..:-)
The idiocy of color-ism keeps me awake!
I see us all in a twit over something insane.
I am white, Caucasian they call it.
But will we all have to have tests one day to prove such
idiocy?
Will Smith not Black enough to get a role as the Williams sisters father?
How utterly mad, Hollywood has eroded to this racial lather.
Ben Kingsley played Gandhi, hardly was the same color!
We all are far more mixed nationalities than we ever considered,
We've morphed into a PC, color ridden planet.
For God's sake~ we are human beings
first and colors,second!
Do you think heaven will have lines for people of color first?
Doubtful, but that's how it's becoming here on earth!
Equality? Give me a break!
We are all so talented but I cannot be created equal as a poet to
anyone here.
That's up to me, to let my poems shine.
At birth, some with maladies are born.
And to various economic households, too.
What's the hue and cry! God gives us different talents, not
to one but to all.
The government here thinks THEY can make us equal, a horrid
lie.
What nonsense, what propaganda the Smart TV vomits.
Do your best with the talents you have,
Work very hard and be most happy in all you pursue.
Being envious of others hurts me and you, too.
Please realize there are people, no matter how much you give them,
Will hate you even the more, sorry, it is true.
Like spoiled children in candy stores.
Nothing to feel morbidly guilty about at all.
We all are imperfect, that's for sure.
There are many doing great things for all nations,
Never told on your TV station!
Like many hunger operations in effect right now.
I wish we would see the amazing good that humans do.
Not all the horrid protests that destroy cities like Paris.
Mon Dieux!

Tender finger touch
As deep feeling presses them
His pain springs to mind.

Afterthought....
"For Those Who Cannot Hear"
From the album "Wings" by composer Michel Colombier.
Lyrics by Paul Williams.
Those who cannot hear
Pardon me, I've made a song for you
I've painted each day
Each sunrise in harmony
Those who cannot hear
Pardon me
Inspired me to write this poem
Pardon me, please
for being blind
to words I heard
yet could not see -
Blind spots
blindsided me
Music plays on hidden keys
heard and seen -
Forgive me, please.
Aqua Marine.

(My first small stanza is from Maria Williams' "Ode to Mum")
*You are the tea leaves; I am the tea pot;
I the tiny snowflake and you the snow.*
You are the gardener of many gardens.
There isn’t anything You can’t make grow.
Once a small seedling, I am your flower.
You are my sun and I bask in Your glow.
You are the fountain of knowledge and truth.
I am but one droplet in your mighty flow.
I the lowly tea pot; You the leaves and the water too
which make the tea to fill me! To You - everything I owe.

Besma, rhyme old poetess
The word for her a charming princess
Poetry is her valiant knight
A guiding Muse who pops at night
So obsessive she is about spelling
With a genuine flair for creative writing
Her forte is the soulful human touch
So elated when praised as such
Watching romance and action films her leisure
Reading and listening to music for her a pleasure
Horror movies make her heart sink
For sci-fi stories she has no flowing ink
To serve and enlighten, her wish and dream
With Love, peace and joy Humanity will beam
To help the world beautify, that’s her aim
Not just a goal, for her a right to claim..

Whisper to me, my love
And let me hold you to my heart
Remove your veil of death
And come to me the man you were
In my dream we can be
Two lovers till dawn breaks in the sky
Oh, those days when you caressed my hair
Those nights of sultry love
Whisper to me, my love
And let me hold you to my heart
Death cannot destroy this eternal love
Come and kiss my ruby lips
Oh, those days when we held hands
Those nights of sultry love
Whisper to me, my love
And let me hold you to my heart
Until the first rays of sun above
Now go to your resting place
Fold your arms and listen, my love
Until, I whisper your name again

"The Price of Pearls"
a strange time
just as a dream
to a place of strangeness
strangers
walking contretemps' fine lines
composing invisible footprints
away from life
into the loud silence within
The Chronicles of The Forgotten
lost in the mists
oars plunging grave tomes in
The Tombs of Sad Poetry
some gently fierce
soft grey broken bad blue sky
reflected in a lake of tears
a sense of haunting
romance to allay
impending fears
acknowledging minds
for a short while
dipping deep within
the short measured
confronting uncomfortable
pools of sincere welcomes some sin
playing the forgotten
heart strings
light sensitive fingers pluck violins
reeling in the pleasure
swoon swimming the skinny time
with cool investiture
the Siren sings
dropping chords
divesting smiles, a serious business
arresting life, love and lust
sensual eyes read his
for good measure
where diaphanous
pages drop like
silken Selkie skin
naked she swims
to shore clutching
a fistful of pearls
wisdom comes
at the price of
freedom
lost in the depths
of drowning
all the ghosts
dead
reborn
in his eyes, they are
Her glistening
new Ocean
now her feet planted on the sure
Now the Lark Ascending
She opens the
locked door
symphonic pleasure

No ones concerned when things seem fine, they care so much when they wanna know .
They treat it like a drive Thur get your business and go.
Spread the gossip even to those that don't care to know.
That's why you have to be careful about who knocks at your door.
Some of the many you thought you knew be the main ones you really didn't know.
Some people do things just for a show,
Its like a movie it was only a scene, selling wolf tickets and false dreams.
Like Katt Williams say you need a star player on your team.
Not trying to stay in no kinda lead just trying to maintain and supply my own needs
If I fall worry not, ill only fall as far as my knees.
praying to God help me please! I've falling into my wicked ways.
sometimes having bad days, having faith i'll change my ways.
My flesh get weak taking over me.
my spiritual body. the seed planted within me,
I ask you lord please water me!There is nothing else left to do but ,
Thank-you Jesus FOR ALL YOU DO!!
Form:
Shadowland
Chained to the addiction of tempting Fate
What if I told you that my life was once like yours?
Torn between love and hate
A shadow silhouette lurking between life and death
Fuelled by an emptiness to which I couldn’t relate
Caution to the wind of besting the best,
A devious test?
Sweet sensations winning an egotistical contest
Life on the edge, merely a precarious precipice
Exhilarated ego threw flames to the flame
The fire inside couldn’t be tamed
Comforts of home failed to exist
Love I yearned for endeavoured to resist
Mind effortlessly lied, failing to grasp the illusion
between confused, lost and utter delusion
Life on the streets a means beyond the dare
Sink or swim baby, did anyone care?
Till the one eventful day when I chanced it too far
Catastrophic event out of nowhere in shape of a car
A sickening thud
My frivolous life paid in blood
My death in vain and loss of blooming years
Too late like acidic rain flowed those tears
What if I told you if you don’t already know?
The concise connotation
through electric flashes of blue and red
of the loudest despairing dread
When they zipped the bag and pronounced you dead?
And you become a glimmer that nobody sees
and the silent scream that nobody hears
Except other shadows between worlds
In an intermundane space
Torn between abstract, physical and a forgotten face
Temptation came as I sat here waiting
To switch sides, she urgently advised me
I saw through her guise, this diabolical entity
I’m not an Angel that fits in your regular category
So, I spat in her eye and called her a name
Oops! sorry Lord forgive me I know you heard
Some of my old sass remains
Still new to the game
Yes, understood, it’s a crying shame.
So back to my story
Redemption came in the grand scheme
I was one of the fortunate few redeemed
So, take heart, kid, abandoned to this shadowland
Not anymore
No more a wandering weary soul lost
Fate was not kind it was never your fault
Conducting your journey
to me the charge has been given
Through a leap of faith all is forgiven
