Friendly Duels – V

Is friendship like a funeral
Where cold frenzies are played out
Among friends of the darling years?
Neighbours protect themselves
In solid caves of ancient discord
Where offsprings are bred & armed
With deadly weapons of hatred!
Men linger here sad & tired
As in a land of the living-dead –
The drummers are like the dancers:
A shadow of their ancestors!
War-eyed fake & drudged intellectuals
Litter our paths of native mind
Bearing giant luggage of rumours
More fearful than real battles
Of castled Chauceric knights!
O in those far-away tenements
And squalors which house students
Many an empty ruse germinate
In a soil rich in abuses!
Two inmates fled from the night
To those hut-like structures
Where secret readings are enacted –
Then two lads for long cursed!
Men & women & kids linger here
In a small society born for love
Sensibility & contemplation & inquiry
Forsaken in cold rumours of wars
While sanity & love dwell in the grave!
Does hatred breed love & health & life?
The Oxford days are gone?

blue is beautifully sad
blue is blissfully glad
color of all boys
color of simple joys

blue is the sky above
blue is the water below
blue is lost love
blue is the shade of sorrow

color of our inner sprit
color of our soul
color of despair we fear it
color of solid cold

blue is the heaven within
blue is the solace moon
blue is the tint of sin
blue is the blush of doom

color of the saddest heart
color of when hope departs
color of the unexpected
color of love rejected

blue is the song within
blue is all that begins and ends
blue is the still of night
blue is the soul in flight

color of the truest heart
color of the richest art
color of both young and old
color of the gift love stole

blue is uncontrolled rage
blue is the deepest hue
color of the mind's sage
color of genuine true

You Must Love More Than Yesterday

How you cope, friend...
being sad?
Hours don't pass that quickly:
you will be so bored!

Try very hard,
and win it all;
yes, they will admire you...
you will know for sure!
You must love more than yesterday,
you will know for sure!
How you deal with pain,
how you sleep alone?
How dreams slip from you?
They are inside you!

Be ready to love,
receive much more,
even though nobody gives;
you must love more than yesterday,
they are smiling now!
You must love more than yesterday,
they are smiling now!

Be strong and believe...
be glad, too!
No one is against you...
everything can be yours today!

Run, to reach love...
whenever you fall,
it will not leave you;
you're on safe shore!
You must love more than yesterday,
they all love you now!
You must love more than yesterday,
they all love you now!
