Cantas En Mi Corazon - Sing In My Heart - a Collaboration With Michael P Clarke

Cantas en mi Corazon
Una Colaboración con Michael P. Clarke

Ahora mi amado, yo saboreo tu glorioso amor,

Sing In My Heart
A Collaboration by Pandita Sanchez & Michael P Clarke

English Version - Rhyme

Come into my arms, your temple so close to me,
I am lost in your eyes, love's glory I now see.
I hear your heart's song as we stand in love's embrace,
when in your embrace,I know I share an angel's grace.
Now my beloved, I do taste your glorious love,
your lips meet mine, as we stand in Heaven above.
Dance with me my love, from God's stars we shall not part,
the song of love is the song I sing in my heart.

My darling, in your loving arms I am free,
to flourish as the precious rose I was meant to be.
A magician of love, you set my heart on fire,
the taste of your lips stirs me with primeval desire.
Love of my life, you are my one great passion,
I crave your embrace for you are my divine addiction.
With you I will dance among the stars and we will never part,
the song of our love is the song that sings in my heart.

Note: Mike wrote the 1st stanzas in both versions, while I wrote the 2nd stanzas in both versions.

Thank you my friend, Mike for inviting me to collaborate with you on this special piece and for inspiring me with your wonderful spirit and words!

Challenge

Who Am I To You?

Am I just a stranger?
An online lover or a nobody
That once who passes by
In a lifetime of your stream ?

Maybe a poet?

A woman only good in sweet words.
Easily fooled by his own feelings,
And by the world that often says
I am just another plaything?

A con artist? A pervert? A toy? Or
Perhaps, one of your movie character
That portrays your imagination
In a stage play of fantasy and dreams?

I am not perfect.
This is reality.
I am not a role model.
I have lapses and flaws.

I am not the woman of your past.
I can't look like her or be like that.
I am not whole, I am also broken
And still have issues of my own .

But the truth is, all of us
Needs to be loved and trying to love
In one way or another, our denials
That we keep telling ourselves
Will be defined by time and memories,
If we're truly happy of being alone.

If not, then tell me
Who am I to you?
Please tell me what we have
Is true, before I go...

Who You Are To Me?

I find myself in thy manger
You are a modern Peabody
Whose pen aids to dye
My board with awesome dream

You are more than a poet!

The one out of all beautiful birds
That freely flies around the earth's ceiling
Unlike the caged birds with less ways
Timely been abating

The twist, the challenge, the fruit outpour
Enough pieces crushing like a constrictor
Holding unto a great aspiration
Flowing through grace so agleam

I am not only for prospect
This may be false in its seeming triviality
I am not a mollycoddle
Yet have respect for tight clause

You become of me, an enthusiast
With keen interest not eyeing to scat
Even when all of it is token
Bountiful harvest are from vial seeds, sown

Nevertheless, in my fuss
I will always be the real dove
And not act up for trials
Abandoned on shelves
The much ado about plight in diaries
Crying for reading to be well known

Life is short, let it be
Less to the review
More to life shouldn't really be halve
Totality is key to overlook every foe

You are who you are
Keep doing what you know best
Someday, you will be the shining star
Silent helpers locate what resisters detest

Shine on.........

Hopeless of Hopefull We'Ll Never Know

H e walks down the road
O n the dark twisting never ending road
P ushing past the invisible chains that had once held him back
E arth breaking in bits and pieces, like crumbs from a cake, under his feet
L ooking at the road, but there was nothing there to see
E verything crying out for help but they were hopeless indeed
S oon he saw a glint of light in the dead grass, a sliver of hope,
S topping to see what it was, he saw a key

O nly he saw the key, the key invisible to others passing by, he picked it up and pocketed it
R ising in happiness he walked on, happy for being shown a sliver of hope in the darkness of life

H opping and skipping for joy... he spotted something else, a coin, old and rusted
O n he walked for it held no meaning to him without those whom he held dear to him
P ausing in disgust at the sight of a murky sea full of people
E very crevasse of the sea was filled with dead fish, which the birds picked at
F or all animals were dead due to the pollutants, only that was not what disgusted him
U seless as the murky sea seemed, others were in the murky sea, staying till life’s end
“L ovely isn’t it?” a stranger asked him. All he could do was stare at the man in disgust
“L ovely?!? It a sad excuse of a puddle, that’s what it is, Ugly!” He says and storms away

W alking along the road he came across a gate and became curious
E ven though something inside him told him not to he tried opening the gate anyways
‘L osing patience he tried breaking the lock
L ost in pure curiosity he tried and tried only to fail once again

N ot happy, he tried his one and only option left, jumping the gate
E cstatic that he would finally get over the gate he jumped into the black oblivion
V OOSH!!!
E xpecting to land but falling forever into the black oblivion
R egretting his carless decision

K nowing that it would never end, but wishing it would
N ow as he fell he thought of the ones he left behind on his journey
O n and on he fell down through the black oblivion
‘W hen will it end?’ He asked himself but the answer, I’m afraid, would never come

7 4 Letter Words That Molded My Life

How I had hate for you, for a longest time in my life,
All I ever thought I was, was the slave in your eyes,
T eaching me the lessons of life, with wrought hands,
Every time you beat me, you beat me like a man.

Pain was an illusion, I soon learned to over come,
Another beating over, well another soon will come.
In your eyes I was a really bad child, where you had to punish me,
Nothing ever stopped you, not even my screams.

How you have hurt me, scars I carry inside,
Understanding why for me, was a never ending fight,
Reliving all those memories, brings me much shame,
Toughen up you reckon, you must be insane.

Fearing you triggered my anxiety early on in my life,
Each day I'd come home from school, and all I wanted to do was hide,
Always alert, always on guard, always looking for signs,
Readying the will to take it again, just like every other time

Very vein you where of how I was raised, you often talked to friends,
Even beatings in front of them, putting me on display entertaining them,
In your mind you were justified, and I had to pay,
Never a care for me in mind, it's my fault you were that way.

Relentlessly and repeatedly, I suffered from your rage,
All the time just screaming at me, because some how I misbehaved,
Getting it out of you system once, was never enough,
Enraged by the loss of yourself control, always re-sparked you off.

Love was the reason you told me, you did it cause you cared,
Over the years you ingrained this in me, So one day I could share,
Very proud of this love you were, I never went out,
Every time you thought I needed more, It was time for another bout.

Thirty four years of hate and anger it took me,
before I could understand what real love was.

Muse Paints the Flow

Ven-lyn A Valdez
May the magic
of your pen rhymes
Like a beautiful song
in grime
As the melody
accompanied by a chime
Let it come for
the music to shine

Wems Henry Temmy
For lovely moments
are designed by music
In its cool tunes
To define loose bodies' rhymes
and poses alcoholic
To show its pure aesthetic
The great inspiration
that trick our pens magic

Ven-lyn A Valdez
Sway it to the rhythm
of our melodies,
Like dancing souls
In the wind breeze.
Our pens collaborating
In beautiful poetic thoughts
Are the inspirations
and flames we fought.

Wems Henry Temmy
Far from the reach of office
All stances are good a station
To dye on papers; aegis
Which safeguard every inspiration
Twinkle little bright change
Comes in a bit occupied of muse
That lurks around so strange
The heart to new views

Ven-lyn A Valdez
Listen to the hearts
In every curves drawn
As the dawn of the new
Beginnings shown
We'll fill the earth with love
That we share

Wems Henry Temmy
Thoughtfully, permit the inner ear
To sharpen your curvy mind
And light the lofty ideas endear
Which seems overwhelming a workload to grind
For cheers will rent the passage of thy heart
When you find love in this art

Ven-lyn A Valdez
Let it come,
Let us paint the sky
With care
As we blend our inks in pair
To shout our emotions either in bad or in despair.

Wems Henry Temmy
Let it flow,
Let us row the boat on the sea
To show
The precious jewel our quill decree
That pictures the night and day as friends aglow

Ven-lyn A Valdez
Like the crashing waves in the shore
Kissing my feet with its roar

Wems Henry Temmy
In its awesome effect I am made whole
Training my mind, soul, and heart of different role

Wise Men Still Seek Him Today

W-hen the fullness of time had come, Jesus was born behind an Inn in a cave-like stable.
I-n the Inn there was no room for the Son of God, no room for the Saviour of men.
S-tar was shining so bright above the stable for the shepherds to find their way to Him.
E-ven angels proclaimed His birth to those shepherds "Unto you is born this day."

M-anger is where Mary and Joseph first laid him. It was filled with hay.
E-very animal there must have known that their Creator had come that day.
N-o one knew the depth of love God had, to give His Son to dwell among men.

S-ame star guided three kings from the Orient, who studied the stars and heavens.
T-hese wise men from the East came saying "Where is He that is born King"
I-n their hands they brought him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrr.
L-ike these three wise men, wise men still seek him today!
L-ove is the reason that God sent His only Begotton Son into the world to save us.

S-eeking for you and me, yes God was seeking for us because we had left Him.
E-veryone, yes, all we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone to his own way.
E-ach one has to make his on decision to follow Him or not to follow Him.
K-ing, born to be a King. King of the ages. King of the past. King of the future.

H-eaven, He came from Heaven to earth to show us the right way.
I-niquity, the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
M-elody, He gives us a sweet melody, we sing many songs of praise to Him.

T-ree, A Christmas tree, the love that Jesus had for us, to die on a tree.
O-nly one life and how soon it passes. Only in life can we accept His Love.
D-eliverance, He came from Heaven to preach deliverance to the captives.
A-cknowlege Him and accept Him. Behold now is the accepted time.
Y-ou, Yes, this Christmas Love was for You. Will You accept this love?

The Luxuries of Love

The luxury of love is bequeathed
In treasures that gold cannot buy
warm arms that hold you
through a cold winter night
a whisper...a kiss
that makes everything alright
one incredible person
someone in whom you trust
with everything you are ..will ever be

is in what cannot be explained
the sanity of walking side by side
in the pouring rain
shoulder’s to lean on
when the going gets rough
nicknames you hold dear for a lifetime
baby doll or pizza man or mi amoré
the eternal sanctity of your lovers kiss
in which your heartbeat is always safe

shared plans to travel exotically one day
surprise getaway weekends
to dusty hidden faraway places
just two hours away
movie premieres you instantly forget
erotic passion in the afternoon
that you will never forget…ever
Sunday mornings busy
doing absolutely nothing at all

Shared box seats to life’s mystery tour
dreams written on the back of
a favourite late night diners’ place mat
whispered promises written
on the walls of your heart
a special smile across a crowded room
letting you know you are never alone
even when you are a continent apart
sometimes when you are heavens apart

is in what others cannot see
shared trust that is stronger than steel
rust proofed against all age
and the weather stripping of time
a lifelong courtship spent side by side
the instinctive inner faith to believe
in the truth and promise of ‘I do’
because you always have
a soul mate in whom you always will

dreams that hold you together
like the magic dust of a fairy tale
through all that comes your way
sharing the last piece of pizza
watching a favourite movie…again
steamy showers and hot coffee for two
dancing well into tomorrows dawn
the ectasy of hearing the soft whisper
I love you…only you…ven aqui

You'Re My Addiction

You are my addiction
my only drug of choice
Look at my bloodshot eyes
you can hear it in my voice

Every time you get near me
my veins rush with adrenaline
You make my body sweat
you leave me with confusion

But when you kiss my lips
you send shivers down my spine
You taste so sweet to me
your body’s so divine

You grip my back
as your passion comes thru
Girl you’re my addiction
I don’t know what to do

I feel the rush of love
when we are alone
When we are together
or on the telephone

I cant get enough of you
your always in my head
From the moment I wake up
till the time I go to bed

I get dreams of you
pleasing me in so many ways
But then I wake up
your scent is all that stays

You’re my addiction
you have me trembling for more
The same way I make you shake
lets do this some more

You give me urges I never had before
deep within my soul
You make me shiver and shake
when I’m not even cold

You bring me to my knees
and make me yearn for more
You’re my only drug of choice
you’re the only one I adore

You give me pain that I enjoy
you are my only baby
You arouse me in so many way
you know how to drive me crazy

I want you and I need you
baby I want to feed on you
Without you in my life
I wouldn’t know what to do

You’re my addiction you keep me alive
thru thick and thin
You have helped me thru so much
where do I begin

Look into my soul
so much burns deep within me
My heart pumps for baby
I’m jonzin for you mami

Ven aqui te necesito
my urge is about to explode
You’re the only one I see in my cross hairs
the only one I want to hold

Let me ignite you
the same way you ignite me
Let me drink you drop by drop
cum baby cum with me

You’re my drug of choice
my addiction that is pure
Come here mami
show me how your pure

Premium Member Rusted Memories Decaying

Ravaged and forgotten, I await my fate in this junkyard,
Under the fierce sun and pouring rain and snow . . . but,
Still within this rusted frame beats a soul and memories, and
There was a time when I was truly loved-
Every person admired my style and curves and my brilliance,
Death, oh d e a t h and old age is a terrible thing.

Memories are all I have as weeds and vines devour,
Even now, I can still feel the soft cloth that caressed,
Making sure my paint shined like glass . . . and,
On long rolling highways and hills, I glided a thing of beauty-
Roaring along without a care in the world (I was young)
Inside my interior was impeccable and my leather so soft
Eternity was mine- I was going to exist forever, but
Silently, the rust began and soon ruined and scarred my beauty.

Days passed and then one day, I was towed to this lonely place,
Eternity seems like not such a good idea now . . .
Chirping from within me where a little song bird has made a nest,
And windflowers and yellow dandelions keep me company.
Years have passed and more and more cars lay ravaged,
Inside my soul memories stir of happy times-
Now my windows have grown blank as dead eyes, and all the
Gnarled and twisted, rusting cars (once loved) wait . . . d e c a y i n g.

Abuelito

Abuelito
The name that rang like bells throughout my home
Like the song of cumbia and regeton that your body will dance to
As you would call out “mija, ven aqui”
And you would take my hands and elope me in a never ending dance
Abuelito taught me of my beginnings, that my familia was large and vast like the ocean
And that I could hear the sounds of my ancestors in the wind
Which was nearly impossible because he was hard of hearing at the slightest mention of taking his medication
But he believed that one day, I could hear him in the wind too
Abuelito would be the one to tell me stories of his says in the Marina
And whenever I told a bad joke, he would laugh as out series of letter K’s
Kkkkkkkk
Abuelito stands for strength, courage, and faith for when I did not have any
For when the news of your cancer came in, the tears rolling down my face where needles against your heart
Abuelito, you told me “Cancer does not mean death, it means a different way of living”
Abuelito, you could not dance our own dance anymore or laugh full of life anymore
I never wished for you to life different, I wanted you to live like my abuelito
It is not fair that cancer took your lungs, then your heart, and reached to the end of your limbs
It is not fair that your last breathe had to be taken from a ventilator
It is not fair that the wind did not pass through on the day of your funeral
It is not fair that I now get to live without you
I visit you everyday and it seems we have not grown apart
For you, cancer did not mean death, it meant showing death that you could still live
And I swear, when I stand still and quiet, I can hear you calling me in the wind
