As the clouds appear over yonder hill
Everything is quiet and still
The early morning mist down the valley lays
Like a blanket ready to cover the days
And the Sun breaks through like a beacon light
Changing the time frame to daylight from dark night
Whilst the birds begin to make their early morning song
I take a deep breath as I walk along
On my early morning stroll through the meadows green
Gazing upon the loveliest sight I have ever seen
As on yonder hill a giant Stag does appear
Gradually walking closer, becoming ever near
His Antlers standing erect and proud
Suddenly he bellows loud
Until he disappears beneath a lowly cloud
That comes over the hill as if to engulf me
A giant puffball through which I cannot see
But it soon clears as the light shines through
Covering the fields in a majestic hue
Early morning, a special time of day
Oh how I wish it would never go away
Early Morning
As the clouds appear over yonder hill
Everything is quiet and still
The early morning mist down the valley lays
Like a blanket ready to cover the days
And the Sun breaks through like a beacon light
Changing the time frame to daylight from dark night
Whilst the birds begin to make their early morning song
I take a deep breath as I walk along
On my early morning stroll through the meadows green
Gazing upon the loveliest sight I have ever seen
As on yonder hill a giant Stag does appear
Gradually walking closer, becoming ever near
His Antlers standing erect and proud
Suddenly he bellows loud
Until he disappears beneath a lowly cloud
That comes over the hill as if to engulf me
A giant puffball through which I cannot see
But it soon clears as the light shines through
Covering the fields in a majestic hue
Early morning, a special time of day
Oh how I wish it would never go away
As the Sun begins to set
Darkness creeps in, and yet
There remains a magical feeling
About which at present nature is dealing
The blue Sky gradually disappearing
As the night is patiently gearing
To bring in the black dark night
And surround us all until daylight
The white puffball clouds now disintegrate
Before our eyes the dark will infiltrate
Our minds our souls for a brief while
As in, the field, disappears the Stile
Covered now beneath the shroud
Of night now coming in calling out loud
In the foreground proudly standing still
The bushes whispering in the gentle winds chill
They will still be there tomorrow morn
Are they bushes or ears of corn?
Hard to tell in the sad dim light
As nature settles down for the night
Eventually when all the blue Sky has gone
The sound of night Owls will linger on
A silent solitude will reign
Until morning comes again
To you plump puffball,
Squatter of the mushroom fungi.
May your soils be rich
And your spores be many!
Moonstone child of nocturnal reverie
Pride tempts to invite fallacious vanity.
Creamy alabaster skin,
Spongy firm of flesh within.
A saucy lunar face to taunt the sun.
His nomadic gaze leaves no course for fun.
The sun edges off towards autumn skies,
Pragmatically steady; contemplatively wise.
The sun may have kissed her on a whim,
Crazed butterfly flutters; needles to pins.
Translucent skin, her conceit and crown,
Blushes from saffron hue, to Dijon brown.
Physical metamorphosis; transmutations collide,
She becomes a phase converted seasonal bride.
To celebrate this new found core,
She sends up clouds of dust, and sleepy spores.
Carpe Diem.
"Unlikely Friends"- these TV shows confirm-
How animal acceptance helps us learn.

Don't care if I'm a horse, and you, a cat;
no matter that I'm big, and you are small.
We both have heads and noses each can pat;
I'm brown and sleek, and you, a gray puffball.
No matter that I'm big, and you are small,
I feel your love while we rub head-to-head.
I'm brown and sleek, and you, a gray puffball,
though you're a barn cat- I'm a thoroughbred.
I feel your love while we rub head-to-head
as friendship flows within our beating hearts.
Though you're a barn cat- I'm a thoroughbred;
such lasting comfort our display imparts.
As friendship flows within our beating hearts,
we both have heads and noses each can pat.
Such lasting comfort our display imparts;
don't care if I'm a horse, and you, a cat.
