I hate to see what's taking place all over this planet here
Here in this world are happening just too many bad things
Things that make me truly concerned and very worried
Worried and very sick to my stomach all the time
Time and time again I hear all these horrible and very sad stories
Stories so bad they sicken my heart and soul and truly make me shiver
Shiver with fear and concern for the safety of all the children
Children are in extreme danger all the time, anywhere and every day
Day in and night out we all need to protect the life of our precious children
Children all over the world need lots of love, attention and hugs plus understanding
Understanding, shower them with all your loving care and protection
Protection we should provide them and give them no matter what
What we have to do for them to receive it as we bring them up and they grow up
Up too soon we see them go, tick, tock, tick, tock, the clock never stops for you or me
Me and you should never stop saying "I love you" or not showing for our children our love
Love for God, love for family and friends, love for people and love for all of the children
Children need us to teach them and guide them all about God's awesome love!
Love through God is so beautiful, true and awesome and will turn them into better adults
Adults they will be one day and more matured if we just raise them with morals and right
Right from wrong we have to and need to teach them all the time and everyday you see
See now and make sure that they never get hurt or abused in any way by anyone!
Anyone could hurt them,so be careful,be good to them, protect them and love them all!

The Preacher Man

His narrow eyes, misguided lies
Misguide his narrow plan,
To cleanse the world from demons, he
Was called The Preacher Man.

“I see no proof, I hear no truth!
Your science is a sin!
You’ll burn in hell if you rebel
And let the Devil win!”

The Preacher Man then took a stand
To convert the sinners by the hand
“You’ll see the Lord you’ll praise the Lord!
You’ll follow blindly Christ the Lord!”
The more he chased, the more they ran
From him, The Preacher Man.

Leviticus was hideous
To the innocent righteous folk
“The fags all shalt be stoned to death!” (Lev 20:13)
The terror he provoked.

His crucifix read “Six six six”
The people use to claim
He’d always clutch on to a crutch
To get him through his pain

His acid tongue and Sabbath stung
With nails through his hands he hung
“My sacrifice is worth the price,
For council in the Lord’s advice!”
His rapture soon began
That beast, The Preacher Man.

His leather book of horror shook
The children to their knees
“Dash the babies against the rocks (Psalm 137:9)
And hang them from the trees!” (Joshua 10:26)

From town to town he went around
Proclaiming he could heal
“The pain of grace upon your face!”
(His wallet was concealed.)

So lock your doors and hide what’s yours
Protect your children from the w----
“I’m commin’ for you, I’m gunnin’ for you!
I’ll say that I’ve been pray’n for you!”
His ministry infests the land
He’s called The Preacher Man.

The Blurred Times

The lines are blurred when blended
I know first hand that govenment grilled cheese sandwiches
are delicious as I shared them with Phillup my best friend,
black as night and true as time...he was my ace
His mother, my godmother Lucille, chased us out to play
in streets equal parts innocent and villainous
Street kids busted hydrants in blazing summer days
we ran through the water blasting sideways cooly
There was no race-hate-ignorant-violence
Black and White children playing with only the care
of our next adventure and the dread of a setting sun

All poor, all struggling, all trying to get by
lines were blurred and blended splendidly
playing a Guns N Roses tape for Lucille
as she laughed at the wailing voice
shaking her wise head saying "Here honey"
...."Listen" replaced with Otis Redding
the pain and passion in his voice
hung in the hot air adding to the summer soundtrack

I moved to a whiter and "higher" place
better schools and cleaner streets
the children echoed their parents ignorant
hate filled diatribe...Ni**er this and Ni**er that...
...I visited Phillup as he moved to a rougher hood
the children echoed their parents ignorant
hate filled diatribe...Honkey this and Honkey that...
Not one of those knowing the other...the lines
clear and defined. Seperate and scornful
...I miss that beautiful blurred time in my life
...I wish everyone knew such a place existed

Generations

Generations

Do you think that you’re a man
Because you hold a gun
Just remember he that kills
Is not his fathers son
Do you have an opened mind
To see the deeds you've done
Or roam the land and make your stand
Look out for number one
Do you know your children
That you are all they know
To see your life through their eyes
They watch you as they grow
Do you know what happened
Cause blood is in demand
Why are children dying
There's a gun in juniors hand
Families at home mourning
Parents now on trial
The whole world feels sorry
But the problem is denial
No one wants to face the truth
It’s right before our eyes
Our children don’t know good from bad
We've raised them on our lies
