Revenant

" Revenant "

In direction unforeseen yet then 'nother am I drifted~
Winds have their way & through my whims have thus sifted~
Yet oft have been waves of similar significance~
Which may have been received with much less cognizance~

‘Tis said now & agin' were a man a bit more old~
Those truths which he ushered forth might not be so bold~
Were now I to be one o'the wiser & thusly called sages~
Methinks I'd be a'lookin' far far back through familiar ages~

Mebbe to those times of youth & greater glee~
Mebbe along those lines of women set so free~
Mebbe I'd look agin' & in so doin' so see~
Truth were so simply there right inside o'me~

‘Twere thoughts o'the mermaids all was it were~
If'n battles so waged created in mind still a stir~
I'd be a'not so a writin' this here little rime~
Nor fer certain would it be now not about time~

Nay say I naught ever dids't methinks~
Wherever whenever I took all me drinks~
‘Twere it so written in those stars way aloft~
Fer me to have grown old & verily so soft~

Fire dids't I breathe fer so so many o'those years~
Darin' & dancin' fer never a'knowin' such fears~
Damn'd so now to be found such a'thinkin'~
Lookin' yet agin' fer all maids to be a'winkin~

‘Tis silly methinks I've grown through these times~
So silly that methinks most always in such rimes~
Yet therein lies such question as to m'self must I ask~
‘Twas wha'for such a reason ye've taken yerself to task~

Aaaarrrrgh! Revenant! Thus I rumble from a'deep~
Awakenin' me ownself from greatest o'sleep~
‘Tis questions which do so bother me now all a'bluster~
‘Tis sense so common I'm a findin' hard to a'muster~

Answer me now those of ye in the know~
When where & wha'for does this wind now so blow~
I'm fer certain left with not any reasonable quip~
To any I'd be grateful fer any such a tip~

Nay nay now belay that I've just asked of ye all~
Fer were it fer certain time 'twouldn't be any such a ball~
Methinks I'll so settle back agin' in me familiar wild waves~
Takin' naught but those pleasures such as that which I craves!

7 4 Letter Words That Molded My Life

How I had hate for you, for a longest time in my life,
All I ever thought I was, was the slave in your eyes,
T eaching me the lessons of life, with wrought hands,
Every time you beat me, you beat me like a man.

Pain was an illusion, I soon learned to over come,
Another beating over, well another soon will come.
In your eyes I was a really bad child, where you had to punish me,
Nothing ever stopped you, not even my screams.

How you have hurt me, scars I carry inside,
Understanding why for me, was a never ending fight,
Reliving all those memories, brings me much shame,
Toughen up you reckon, you must be insane.

Fearing you triggered my anxiety early on in my life,
Each day I'd come home from school, and all I wanted to do was hide,
Always alert, always on guard, always looking for signs,
Readying the will to take it again, just like every other time

Very vein you where of how I was raised, you often talked to friends,
Even beatings in front of them, putting me on display entertaining them,
In your mind you were justified, and I had to pay,
Never a care for me in mind, it's my fault you were that way.

Relentlessly and repeatedly, I suffered from your rage,
All the time just screaming at me, because some how I misbehaved,
Getting it out of you system once, was never enough,
Enraged by the loss of yourself control, always re-sparked you off.

Love was the reason you told me, you did it cause you cared,
Over the years you ingrained this in me, So one day I could share,
Very proud of this love you were, I never went out,
Every time you thought I needed more, It was time for another bout.

Thirty four years of hate and anger it took me,
before I could understand what real love was.

“I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart) I am never without it..."  E.E. Cummings

Another day soaked in the melody of your musical memories.
Breathless I seek, for a rosy gleam of morning glories,
cascading calming beams in tangerine tints, where~
dulcet dreams still linger over sun-kissed meadows,
engraved with clandestine seeds we’ve scattered across
fields of fireflies flaring childhood sagas woven with
glistening ink flowing in sapphire syllables, like
hypnotic hieroglyphics carved from tears left untold. Yet~
I ponder, what is heaven like, without me, by your side, do you still laugh,
joyously to the thoughts of how we swirled and twirled like
kindred spirits, lost in our own sacred spheres ricocheting with,
lyrical light, that emanated emerald euphoria..

Maybe, in the elysian castle, where you reside, angels would,
never let you forget promises we made beneath moonlit skies,
on the nights when the world too did abandon~
peacock-feathered peacefulness that we truly deserved, despite our,
quivering hearts, that beat in tune to the grief-struck stars…

Remember me, when fragrant flowers flourish in colors of~
soft mauve sunsets, we painted in butterfly brushstrokes.
Tonight, I’m listening to the waves whisper serene serenades,
unraveling sparkling tales of your seraphic realm in
violet verses, for I am still healing, alone, reminiscing,
wishing, someday, when every jewel in the horizon falls in~
xanthic streaks, like autumnal leaves, wilting to the absence of,
your loyal presence, I’ll find a canvas, to immortalize this love~
zestfully; while souvenirs of yesterday’s twilight twinkle, you remain the poem of my soul.

Thy Almighty

The almighty were told, creator of heaven and earth
Where is he, in time's of Armageddon and self worth
Now were asking where you are in our hour of need
Yeah the grand oral disminar, do you ever take heed?

When times are grey people, are still praying to you
Asking for a better day, there saying what can you do?
People still seem to rely on prayer as it's a last hope
I ask is anyone really out there?, when we can't cope

Following a righteous path?, I know wrong from right
Being religious is it daft?, for some Id say a guiding light
If a misfortune ,making a sign of the cross, is it the same?
When people are at a loss they use the lords name in vain

If on your death bed you do lay and this is your future bleak!
Dose one pray, when an atheist just turns the other cheek
When one's had enough, they ask where you are, G.O.D
While looking above, the grand oral diseminar, thy almighty

Probably not my best effort but few lines I had going on in my head
for a while just lously put togeather ,something I've always questiond though
do we really need religion in the world? maybe without it would be a better place
it seems a watse of life, lifes already hard enough but I supoe like I heard in a song the
world spins on its axes, one ones troubles why a nother relaxes
I have miexed views because I hve almost lost my life on four or five ocassions
a couple of them were self inflicked and I was told thats a sin but then
surley being made to suffer is a sin those who preach just tell ypu
what someone else has told them and so on and so fourth or though
when I grew up maybe thos people were unsure of there belives which
leaves me to uestion its like Im constantly loking for absolusion

My City's Rebirth

Ridiculous. Never have you met a brother to ever have explosiveness. Like a pyrotechnic you know that I will stay blowin' this. Beat up till' I wake the streets up. Because Gary, Indiana needs a spiritual re-up. My city is sobbing and it's looking for some perfection. because it's spirit has left it's body. Call it astral projection. This is how Gary raps. The best thing since Mike Jack. And it can't get no better than that.

And so begins my city's rebirth. The Midwest the quickest rappers ever seen on this green earth. Too rappers try to race us, they need to reverse. Because too many lyrics coming at you upon this mean verse. The G is the city that not a single soul has tested. If they try us then they will see that we can never be bested. So many people hurt. Twice as many arrested. Our natives don't really care. they're born and raised to be reckless.

The rip and the wreckage that you're seeing on every block. And the cops acting hot when they try to run in your spot. Addicts on the corner are always looking for rocks. And these prostitutes are sexing and sucking on every cock. So many have tried but have never made it to fame. Because they're looking at Gary like a sack of some sour lames. So riches is something that we really couldn't attain. That is until today, because I'm on a whole nother plain.

To be glyph here are stories that go with bringing Gary back to it's former glory. If you're squeamish then cut it off. To be honest this is gory. How I'm gonna chop this beat and cook it like tenderloin. Maybe a ghost town but will never diminish. We're bucked up now. It's a fight to the finish. And that's for anybody trying to snuff my city's rebirth. Off the dome sophistication. No, my lines aren't rehearsed. It's Intel.

My All

A destiny that soon became an escapade
There again he's caught up in a whirl pool
But could not see that he's being played
How could one have then been such a fool

Though what a silly mistake that he'd made
To think that he’s giving her his heart, his all
And her the way that she would masquerade
Anyone would think that she's at some ball

And how dose he then keep up the facade
When one's knocked off there pede stool
This memorrie that never seems to fade
Her so smug but him thinking he's so cool

And feeling so angry but more so betrayed
The fact one can make you feel so small
What would have happed if he had stayed
To think that he's giving her his heart, his all

Why did I write this I feel like Ive took exerts from other writes like a bad case of nostalgia and broken
