Valentine's Day has come for those happy lovers
except me; no romantic cards, no pretty flowers;
and drowning myself in sorrow, I envision my darling's
eyes shine, giving life to mine...they need her gladness.
She choose another guy who had less charm but wealth...
I doubt if he ever loved her the immeasurable way I did;
he stole away my precious sweetheart, the one I adored...
wounding me in the heart and bleeding I met with death.
I have chosen tears, not wanting to be alive...
rejecting all sympathetic smiles to help heal these deep wounds;
and they bleed, dripping like roses at sunrise...
is she thinking of me today? Has her happiness turned to blues?
Absence has made me realize that each memory is kept
in the inner consciousness: words are eternal, never forgotten;
the days spent alone, the nights looking at stars may seem vain...
isn't it a reminder that no love dies even if hearts are apart?

A plethora of
hopes and dreams
born in glorious
first moments:
heartbeats and
breaths.
A most coveted
bountiful blessing
deserving of
unconditional love,
smiling upon this
precarious world.
The most joyous moment
suddenly shrouded
by crushing concern
and immeasurable fear.
Patience wearing thin
in the presence of
engorged, stinging breasts
and marked, stretched skin.
A grey curtain drawn
in dispair and pain
over an exhausted mind
and over-burdened body.
A sweltering shamefulness
creeps in on lonely,
endless days
and sleepless nights -
taking advantage
of inexperience and
insecurity.
A brooding rage boils over
into uncontrollably
weeping eyes
and quivering fists.
An outburst of emotions
sets into motion
a bombardment
of self-doubt
and hopelessness.
Swiftly
a warm caress
and innocent blue eyes
offers short-lived relief.
In the presence
of pure perfection
a deep gratitude
offers colossal courage.
Healing.
Inevitable.
In depths of solitude, I stand forlorn,
With shadow as my sole and steadfast friend.
By society shunned, from kinship torn,
I ponder on life's edge, its bitter end.
Upon the bridge, where thoughts of ending bloom,
My shadow's form beside me makes its stand.
This grim moment, midst the gathering gloom,
I gasp, “l'm not alone in this bleak land!”
For shadow's silent vigil, ever true,
Has walked with me through life's relentless strain.
In every trial, every triumph too,
He’s been my constant, through both loss and gain.
So, ‘neath moon’s light, and night’s cold embrace,
My shadow stands, my solace and my grace.

at the beginning earth was a place uninhabitable
to any living thing, it was nothing but a furiously
burning wandering fireball in an immeasurable open space
while wandering in space,
however, hit by the meteoric showers, bumped into planetoids,
and from its own gravity the earth gradually lost its surface heat
and became a gigantic piece of rock covered with the great many wrinkles
in order to survive,
the living thing cannot afford to lose time any more in this darkness of unknown beginning or inconceivable end, it must find a place to settle and bring new life
into the world,
came and clung to the surface of the rock and struggled to hold onto it
one day, when a cry of pitiable life tore the standstill time into pieces
because it was unable to bear the time that is infinitely quiescent any longer,
it echoed in the space and returned to earth as a dim light
in that light the sighs of the living thing heaped up high
and became air, in that gleam the tears of the animated thing
came together and became waters
when water swelled to overflow it became lakes, rivers and seas
and when air became heavier it raised itself to a wind,
and when wind passed through the surface of earth
it turned into vales, hills and clouds
life began with great struggles and confirmed by quickening
in the darkness and echoing heartrending cry, though grew while calling the sea
a mother and the mountain a father, and conceived meaning of lots of phenomena:
why the rivers flow and clouds drift, dews on the grasses
change into fogs and finally dissipate,
the stars come to visit the lakes
and kiss to form ripples at night
the seed of arrogance grew in the heart of this creature
spreading rapidly among the creatures living in the surface of the earth
and when his arrogance reached to the heaven, the creatures threw stones
in the seas, set fires on mountains, while boasting with those words:
“we conquered world, the world is under our feet”
hence the earth surged by a raging water,
and the windstorm rose to shake the rocks in the mountains violently
nonetheless, the creature did not introspect
his own detestable deeds but continuously acted
in a lordly manner throwing his chest out as before,
though enjoying saying this favorite phrase:
“this age is a corrupted age! this age is a degenerate age!”
That "first glance" is which I will never forget in my life.
It was the first meet whence those attracting
attaching amusing eyes locked mine.
Stealthily hypnotized and made me fall
captivated to his smiling striking swallowing eyes,
stole my heart generously and shielded me inside.
Gradually progressing & processing with
distinguished peachy romanticism:
sighting,nurturing,nourishing,
provisioning,kissing,hugging,
punching,tweaking,fighting,
patting with lightings...love endures enormously.
Our Undying divine love overflows boundlessly
demanding immeasurable unite.

When marquee of eve glints on a skyline,
I gaze at jewelled stars naturally blinking--
that the world heaves with content
open to eve's charm undefined by time...
And within this space I become a listener
of winds tickling trees,
a watcher of colors bleeding the ground ;
one runner chasing leaves
on upturned sways ,
knowing that my world's best pleasure
is gratitude, a rune filtering through
inner being that opens the moon right up,
And my world spills into a hundred portraits
borne from an unrelenting joy
which the race for hollow gold or rank
cannot eclipse...
allowing the self immeasurable joy
on the breath of each new day!
The foliage unruffled, the tree trunks utterly baffled
The reign of darkness all along
A nightly hoot of owl, the occasional growl
Of a tiger bold and strong
The silence of night, the crescent moon’s light
A play of light and dark
The serene nature sleeps a strange fever creeps
The homebound wings of a lark
An eerie silence reigns in the forest now.
A few huts of people living in this forest
Can be seen at the distance. The faint light spilled
Through the roofs is busy in hiding its scantiness;
Though darkness and silence of the forest are extending
A sympathetic hand to it. A baby cries, its mother cradles
The new-found affection gently, gently, it is bound to be
Lulled into sleep whereas all the leaping flames
Circle the mother and baby in an enchanted dance
The morning glows in stranger shine. The ferny floor
All teeming with greedy shadows; the day shows the door
Of immeasurable wealth; they tread invisible ways
To usurpation, primitive hands fail to prevent
Modern cormorants and voracious sharks in complete sway

SITTING IN A QUIET LAKEFRONT PARK
LOOKING AT PICTURES OF MY MOTHER IN THE DARK
THE ILLUMINATION OF VIVID MEMORIES CREATE A SPARK
A TRUE HISTORICAL MILESTONE EXCURSION LANDMARK
SHEDDING A RARE TEAR, BUT CALMLY SANE
LOOKING AT PICTURES OF MY DAD AS IT BEGINS TO RAIN
WISHES AND REGRET CAN CAUSE SUCH IMMEASURABLE PAIN
I GET SHEDDING SNAKESKIN HANDS TRYING TO WIPE AWAY EVERY STAIN
DRIVING BACK TO A REALITY LONG SINCE RUSTED
THINKING ABOUT HAPPIER TIMES WHEN I WAS LESS DISGUSTED
MY LIFE IS BLUE BALLOON WITH AN INGROWN BOIL DOUBLE BUSTED
SO LITTLE REPLY AND REACTION HAS ALL THE FUSS DID
How can I forget you?
How can I forget you ?,
when I only know YOU;
Drizzle on every plant they may say,
but only your leaf has my happiest dew.
To term you as my belief,
has an immeasurable sigh of relief;
The mental occupancy at the end of the day,
has only "us" beyond the bay.
How can I forget you ,
when I wish to see only YOU;
Everyday is what I desire for your glimpse,
but the moon turns rarely blue.
To wait for you now and then,
defining my love infact taller than the big ben;
Has now become the desired course of way ,
you may not hear sometimes but my love will always say.
How can I forget you ,
when I hear only YOU;
If being devoted to you is a crime ,
the legal processes could make me sew.
The day the world will comprehend ,
the world would see us as heavenly send ;
Fortune favours again I say,
If the night is you : I don't wish to see the next day.
Ricky was just eight years of age,
As a single mom, had to down stage,
That his papa could die any day soon,
I remember that night, there was a full moon,
Doctor said that it would be a long night,
We watched my brave dad fight,
Withered to a skeleton, down forty kilos,
Bed sores were protected by many pillows,
Cancer had eaten away his life,
Married forty five years, to his devoted wife.
My son and my father were inseparable,
Their love for each other immeasurable,
Ricky went to bed, my Mom and I on alert,
Death was in the air, with my dad it did flirt,
My father was very, very ill
Time dragged, it almost stood still.
Night passed and morning came
The doctor came to visit, things still the same,
Took Ricky to school, drove back, sat to have tea,
With my mum when the unavoidable had to be,
Two caregivers by my dad’s side, the one
Shouted help quick, we ran, it was too late
Dad was on his way to heaven‘s gate.
It was eleven thirty in the morning,
A new era without my dad was dawning
My first thought dear God help me tell Ricky.
I drove to his school at the usual time,
Not wanting to alarm him, regular home time,
His teacher guessed as I tried not to cry,
And tried to keep a dry
Eye, what’s wrong mom Ricky asked, is it papa,
Yes my darling, Ricky sobbed, oh no mama
He sobbed and he sobbed, people came
And so did his friends, what a shame,
All thought of the relationship he had
With his beloved Grand-dad.
The next morning, my son,
Said quite bravely, mama
Going to school, have a spelling test,
What a wonderful little boy, I am blessed.
When I collected Ricky he said,
I spelled everything right from A to zed,
Papa helped with my test, the clouds in the sky
Spelled every word, I felt him so close,
I could touch his nose,
But after break all I did was cry!
