I suppose it shouldn't come as such a terrible shock,
That each of us is allotted just so many ticks O' the clock.
The gifts of time and talent used well are our responsibility,
So at the end of life's bourne we can prove accountability!
Like the Biblical parable of the talents, we are abundantly blessed,
With very special opportunities and abilities to invest.
Being faithful and pressing on with resolute devotion,
Will result in showers of laurels and well-deserved promotion!
'Tis well to take time to admire the roses along the way,
And to tell your loved ones that you love them every day.
For the rights and aspirations of others, take a firm stand,
And offer to needy and helpless folks a compassionate hand.
The sands of time flow inexorably thro' life's hour glass.
Woefully, time can't be reimbursed and doth so quickly pass.
Alas, many folks have lived a life of pitiful disarray,
Having squandered their time and God-given talent away.
That dormant talent you're loath to use for feats great or small,
Could be used to accomplish little, rather than nothing at all.
Good use of time and talent to Him 'twill be observant,
And He can say of you, "Well done my good and faithful servant!"

THE SAVIOR AND I
The Savior and I are in troth:
That amidst a storm He never shall forsake,
And I His mercies shall ever seek;
All His love and grace both,
He never shall withhold from His child.
And the feebly I can I shall keep His word,
Finding in it His abiding will
To be His and serve him still,
Till I leave this alien world.
His grace shall be my goal
Though I from time to time shall fall;
With knees upon the ground
I shall ever request another pardon and round.
All those His name passionately called,
He allowed Himself be found;
His help he’s never withheld
From them that pray with unceasing sounds!
Time with the Lord is precious
every second does count
he is there for us always
and not just when our troubles or worries start to mount
the Lord is there for us
with a listening to share
the Lord is with us with his loving care
time with the Lord is precious
every single day
it only takes a few moments to listen to what
he is trying to say
the Lord always listens no matter what your going through
you just need to take the time to open up your
heart and let him minisiter to you.
Psalm 116 I love the lord because he hears my voice
and prayers for mercy
because he bends down to listen
I will pray as Long as I have breath. Amen and Amen.
Revelation 1 :3 God blesses the one who reads the words of this prohercy to the church
and he blesses all who listen to its message and obey what it says, for the time is near.
Amen.
a time to live
a time to die
a time to laugh
a time to cry
a time to mourn
they that died
a time to remember
times we laughed and cried
who can recall the fullness of life
the time when the fruit
they say has turned ripe
then time to harvest
weather happy or sad
they pick the fruit
and put it in a bag
it may be prepared
for a wonderful feast
or preserved for latter
when the harvest is weak
but to rot on the vine
is a waste of Gods time
and sinful where usefullness
was only deceit
have they been missed
by the harvesters hand
perhapes left for gleening
their second chance
but rot on the vine
is the devils delight
give nothing to anyone
and stay out of sight
the time to give
is waning fast
we're constantly ageing
with lives that won't last
opportunity soon becomes
a thing of the past
but the best come forth
giving what they have
it seem's at times
that they are taken from us
our gentle lambs
we love and trust
but by Glory they are saved
for a greater day
in the fullness of life
they went away
from a time to live
and a time to die
to a time to die
and a time to live
grasp the knob, now push open the door, and tell me what you find,
you've seen this place, and you've been here before, you've already peaked inside,
it took some time to remember, but now it all seems too familiar,
there's nothing that will shock you or scare you inside, nothing too peculiar,
there's peace, there's love, there's trust again embracing your heart with safety,
this spot you've known for oh so long, longs to be filled, not empty,
why be so scared if i've brought you this far, im your delivery in time of need,
there's so much more to fill your soul, there's so much more to feed,
this food is healthy, and it will renew your mind, worries will not pass your way,
it's your choice, you can stay here as long as you like, i want you to live here and stay

My Brother,
Here's to the years we knew
though it seems they went all too fast.
It feels our times together, too few;
those things that we wanted to last.
From time to time I think upon you
and our boyhood adventures together.
Each day was the wonder of something new
and in time our differences we'd weather.
Times then, so distant from times now
and I've walked on in this life without you.
To live with regret, I just won't allow
But with cherished memories as you'd want me to.
My Brother,
Here's to the promising years ahead
and into those days I carry your memory.
In my heart I know it is that you're not dead
but in that place where I know I shall be.

I never felt to push or shove
People toward the God of love
It seemed that it was not my place
“Just give them time and give them space”
But then I came to understand
When vision of a failing dam
Appeared in revelation’s dream
And as I dreamt I looked to see
A town that lay downstream, below
In dead of night, they did not know
That little time remained until
Collapse would come and floods would fill
The valley, bringing death to all
The sleeping souls, and so I called
As loud as I could raise my voice
I ran the streets, I had no choice
I beat upon their glass and doors
I told them what things lay in store
If they would not rise up and leave
But many simply looked at me
As though I were a crazy fool
Some slammed their doors and some were cruel
They mocked me as they turned away
And I had no more time to stay
For in the distance I could hear
The raging flood that now was near
And all that I could do was flee
To higher ground for my safety
Then as I turned and looked back down
A wall of water swept the town
With total devastating force
I cried out loud, my heart remorsed
If only they had known the cost
But they are gone, so many lost
And so I learned from that night’s dream
I do not have the luxury
To sit and let the time wane thin
The time is now, I must begin
To warn as many as I can
For soon shall come…The Son of Man

There seems to be a global awakening.
There seems to be a spiritual rebirth.
The truth seems at last to be in the reach
of us creatures now roaming the Earth.
There is a flower of faith in the making
and it moves to the source of the light.
We breathe hope on the whispering winds
of change, as we battle to pull through the fight.
This is a time of transition
from the old to the wholesome and new.
Its a time to lay down our weapons of pain;
to cease firing our bullets of hate.
Its a time to stop singing our anthems of war
and stand united, before its too late.
Stand in silence and listen to the voice of your soul,
it is trying to make itself heard.
You might be surprised by the message it brings,
by the wisdom it speaks in it's words.
For the truth lies within not around us.
Its not found in the wealth or the fame.
It resides in our heart and our spirit.
It is found in love that we give.
In each one of us is a wellspring of faith.
Find it now; it is then you will live.
