An End of the Age of Innocence Part Iii

In our fast paced twentieth century world..,

We oft' have neglected to stop to smell the roses,
Oft' we used to bow our heads silently to pray,
As we reflect back to the sixties is had launched a pad to rebellion !
With a vast amount of liberal bias and thinking,

No wonder why our nation is sinking..,

Sinking amidst a cuss pool of mere morality..,
For now it is a quite different time,
A very unique but different type of day..,
An end of the age of innocence,

One hath been enlightened..,

From seeking truth,
Some fresh out of a garbage can..,
Yet for Gods' sake,
He hath such an amazing plan !

Hence, to shun the broad road,

Yet to seek to venture in the narrow..,
Such as a distant bird in flight !
You might see this creature venture out at night ?
Of the Eagle nor the Sparrow..,

It used to mean something to have a sense of common courteous..,
To hold open the door for your neighbor ?
Yet for the time being we relent and waiver..,
Would you prefer another taste of a certain ice cream flavor ?

To ponder we must be content with who we are in the inside..,

Nor, a mere fancy suit or blazing sport's car,
Life is a roller coaster..,
In what you do while busy making other plans..,
Finding solace among the height of nature.,

Such to think at what is quite simple,
As a young child reflects on his or her poster board,
Playing with their magic crayons..,
For in eternity it is such a very long time !

Take heed in what you do,

Now is the expectant hour !
What will one choose to do ?
There can be no place nor need for any compromise,
Within it's vast perpetual spectrum !

One just can't put a price tag on a genuine but unique heart !

Hence, with honest integrity..,
The time for change is today !

Time Wanes Thin

I never felt to push or shove
People toward the God of love
It seemed that it was not my place
“Just give them time and give them space”

But then I came to understand
When vision of a failing dam
Appeared in revelation’s dream
And as I dreamt I looked to see

A town that lay downstream, below
In dead of night, they did not know
That little time remained until
Collapse would come and floods would fill

The valley, bringing death to all
The sleeping souls, and so I called
As loud as I could raise my voice
I ran the streets, I had no choice

I beat upon their glass and doors
I told them what things lay in store
If they would not rise up and leave
But many simply looked at me

As though I were a crazy fool
Some slammed their doors and some were cruel
They mocked me as they turned away
And I had no more time to stay

For in the distance I could hear
The raging flood that now was near
And all that I could do was flee
To higher ground for my safety

Then as I turned and looked back down
A wall of water swept the town
With total devastating force
I cried out loud, my heart remorsed

If only they had known the cost
But they are gone, so many lost
And so I learned from that night’s dream
I do not have the luxury

To sit and let the time wane thin
The time is now, I must begin
To warn as many as I can
For soon shall come…The Son of Man

Premium Member Time and Talent

I suppose it shouldn't come as such a terrible shock,
That each of us is allotted just so many ticks O' the clock.
The gifts of time and talent used well are our responsibility,
So at the end of life's bourne we can prove accountability!

Like the Biblical parable of the talents, we are abundantly blessed,
With very special opportunities and abilities to invest.
Being faithful and pressing on with resolute devotion,
Will result in showers of laurels and well-deserved promotion!

'Tis well to take time to admire the roses along the way,
And to tell your loved ones that you love them every day.
For the rights and aspirations of others, take a firm stand,
And offer to needy and helpless folks a compassionate hand.

The sands of time flow inexorably thro' life's hour glass.
Woefully, time can't be reimbursed and doth so quickly pass.
Alas, many folks have lived a life of pitiful disarray,
Having squandered their time and God-given talent away.

That dormant talent you're loath to use for feats great or small,
Could be used to accomplish little, rather than nothing at all.
Good use of time and talent to Him 'twill be observant,
And He can say of you, "Well done my good and faithful servant!"

An End of the Age of Innocence Part Ii

At one time it meant something when a gentleman would hold open the door..,

Today in our society we don't want that thing anymore..,
Yet before your date goes into the building,
Have her go ahead of you,
That is what my dear old grandma would oft' say !

No given need by which to hide and pretend..,

For the anti- Christ that you speak of is already here,
He both linger's to and fro !
Yet one can't find him by starring out their window ?
Trying not to get crushed out of the hidden under toe..,

There is something else I think you ought to know,

This is the end of the age of innocence !
For hate is in full force !
There are no white flags with retreat on them..,
Still a winner is just another loser that gets up and gives it one last try !

Now you all should be very happy to meet !

A true source of freedom that came to us some time ago,
Was spit upon along with a tormented crucifixion !
As if this man was nothing !
Yet that nothing of a man still lives on today !

To live among his children who oft' give,
A little love to toe who are hurting..,
Bringing about solace and peace !
For many there be who will reap what they sow..,

This shouldn't come at a big surprise !
Keep look in ahead at that hero's eyes !

Goodbye

WHO'S THE BLAME FOR THE LIFE STRUGGLES AND TEST WE ARE DRAGGED THROUGH, LEAVING US
CONFUSED, LOST, AND AT TIMES OUT OF CONTROL?

HOW DO WE LET GO OF THOSE THAT COME INTO OUR LIVES WITHOUT HARM, THE ONES THAT MAKES US
SMILE AFTER WALKING MILES AND MILES ON PAIN AND SHAME?

WHO DO WE BLAME?

WE FORGET AT TIMES HOW FRAGILE WE REALLY ARE UNTIL OUR HEARTS ARE TOSSED TO THE SIDE LIKE
A PIECE OF PAPER TO BE BURNED, TO BE HURT HOW WILL WE LEARN TO DEAL WITH THIS PAIN?

HOW WILL WE EVER MOVE ON? GIVING UP IS NOT THE KEY TO SET YOURSELF FREE. TEARING THE
WINGS OFF AN ANGELS BACK TO COUNT THE FEATHERS LOST IS TO LIVE WITH A BROKEN HEART.

GO AHEAD TURN YOUR BACK ON ME. IF THAT'S WHAT IT TAKES TO SET YOU FREE. I WISH YOU WELL
THE BEST IN LIFE AND TIME CAN OFFER.

TO BE LOST, IN YOUR MIND, IN THIS QUICK AMOUNT OF TIME THAT WAS SHARED WAS IN VEIN, WAS I
BLIND TO THE FACT, I CARED? OR SIMPLY MY TIME RAN OUT WITH YOUR HEART?

ITS CRAZY I WILL BE THERE FOR YOU WHEN YOUR READY. IF YOU REACH YOUR HANDS OUT TO ME,
BROKEN WINGS IN ALL. I WONT LET YOU FALL.

BUT UNTIL THEN THIS IS GOOD BYE.

A Time To Live

a time to live
 a time to die
a time to laugh
 a time to cry
a time to mourn
 they that died
a time to remember
 times we laughed and cried

who can recall the fullness of life
 the time when the fruit
they say has turned ripe
then time to harvest
 weather happy or sad
they pick the fruit
and put it in a bag
it may be prepared
 for a wonderful feast
or preserved for latter
 when the harvest is weak

but to rot on the vine
is a waste of Gods time
and sinful where usefullness
 was only deceit
have they been missed
 by the harvesters hand
perhapes left for gleening
 their second chance

but rot on the vine
 is the devils delight
give nothing to anyone
 and stay out of sight
the time to give
 is waning fast
we're constantly ageing
 with lives that won't last
opportunity soon becomes
 a thing of the past
but the best come forth
 giving what they have

it seem's at times
that they are taken from us
our gentle lambs
 we love and trust
but by Glory they are saved
 for a greater day
in the fullness of life
 they went away
from a time to live
 and a time to die
to a time to die
 and a time to live

Premium Member Rebirth

There seems to be a global awakening.
There seems to be a spiritual rebirth.
The truth seems at last to be in the reach
of us creatures now roaming the Earth.

There is a flower of faith in the making
and it moves to the source of the light.
We breathe hope on the whispering winds
of change, as we battle to pull through the fight.

This is a time of transition
from the old to the wholesome and new.
Its a time to lay down our weapons of pain;
to cease firing our bullets of hate.

Its a time to stop singing our anthems of war
and stand united, before its too late.
Stand in silence and listen to the voice of your soul,
it is trying to make itself heard.

You might be surprised by the message it brings,
by the wisdom it speaks in it's words.
For the truth lies within not around us.
Its not found in the wealth or the fame.

It resides in our heart and our spirit.
It is found in love that we give.
In each one of us is a wellspring of faith.
Find it now; it is then you will live.

Understand Thee Dieu? Sin Seven

And never were you mention on our lips
And never was your love in dark eclipse
And your kingdom was soft to understand
And never was your touch as harboured ships
And never were you distant out of grips

We together were with lack of ceilings
We together in unknown of mornings
We worshiped and found everything from thee
We together in sharing of feelings
We together were with all our siblings

Were we to live as neutral observer?
Were we to be in timeless safe cover?
Were we to know the reason for un Dieu?
Were we to be as a soulless saver?
Were we to live forever and ever?

In your time there is only peace and quietness
In your time there can be perpetualness
In sharing together there was not sin
In your time there can be ephemeralness
In your time there is just sight and brightness

Heaven was a thought that was never missed
Heaven was a place in the certain midst
Heaven didn’t have the sins of seven
Heaven was a place, which did not exist
Heaven was a thought with no time no lists

Walking Through the Valley All On My Own

Walking through the valley all on my own

Written By Dean Masciarelli

Thursday, July 22, 2010

Walking through the
valley all on my own

Searching for a reason
why I am still around

Because I never thought
that I
could live for so long

Because I thought I
would
end up dying young

But I am honestly
grateful
that I am still around

Because I still have a lot of
living to do in this life of mine
before it’s my time to be gone

I just wish that I didn’t
have
to spend it being alone

Because I really wish that I
could have a companion
who could love me as
I could love them in return

Hopefully the good Lord
will
hear my prayers in Heaven

And he will answer every prayer
that I have ever prayed to him

In my heart I know he will bring
me a
partner and a mentor and a friend

But it will be in his time and not in my own

So in the mean time I will keep the faith
and I will do my very best to remain strong

A Time

This is the time for things to change.
A time when love flows and secrets are told.
A time to cry for those who we have lost,
And hold those who are born.
It’s a time for those who love and learn to see
What has really become of this world.
There are tears to be shed and laid down to rest.
Untold deaths will be told, and when they do
Lies will be told. They will fight to cover them up,
But the truth will be told. Friendships will be
Broken from the unspoken truths. Lives will be torn
Apart, and hearts will be crushed. The years will go
On with or without the friends. Bibles will be read
At night until the days end. Talks will be told of how Satan
Is coming back, but there will be no proof until the very end.
The dead will rise and the angels will sing, declaring their
Heavenly love. The gates of the Heaven will be opened,
And you will hear God’s glorious songs, as the angels
Rejoice for the many souls that were saved.
