The Black Knight's Demise

Dream on, fair maiden, of distant lands
and the knights with whom you ride.
For tomorrow will come and upon the day
you shall become my bride.
Then dreams should cease and control thee, I shall.
For you will be mine alone.
And damn the knight that wins the hand
that I have set out to own.
Prepare me my horse, oh squire, be quick!
Gather my armor, my swords and my lance!
Gather all weapons, though heavy they be,
we must leave nothing to chance!
And mark my words, for upon this day
I will enter this dwelling, a king!
And with me on steed, in fine linens she’ll wear,
the queen that will wear my ring.
But listen, the beats of hooves as they ride
And the clamor of iron and steel.
They think they will win, but I know for sure
before whom they will all kneel.
But, who is that, clad in silver and gold,
riding a stallion pure white,
carrying only a shield and a sword in his hand?
Cursed be the pride of this foolish knight.
Ah, it is battle time now and there she sits,
awaiting the victor, indeed.
For predicted in dream, I shall prevail.
I shall defeat. I shall succeed.
He approaches me now. In joust he rides
holding his sword and his shield.
Keep coming good knight, for I will prevail
And to me, you shall yield.
But, it’s cold now, this feeling I’ll never forget
seeing a river that’s running so red.
My lance it had failed and on the ground, here I lay.
In moments my dreams will be dead.
Those dreams, those cursed dreams
that are sending this man to his grave.
I have failed in attempt to fulfill all the dreams
proving me nothing, but a knave.
The Good Knight, he walks to take the maiden’s fair hand
as I lay here dying in despair.
Curse you, oh knight, and your family to come
For the suffering I have, you will share.
But he turns to me now, trying to get me to rise
Offering his hand out to me for to grasp.
And I spit on his shoes and curse him by name
As I stare and take my last gasp.

Lucy and the Devil - Part 1

Up in the attic out of sight, a chest lay undiscovered, it contained the skeletal remains
of Lucy's one time lover,

Her life before had been so hard, her looks a little faded. In desperation Lucy made a
deadly deal with Satan,

It began upon a winters night, as she sat by the fire. The flames danced as she was
mesmerised, her aspirations soaring higher,

"I wish that I could find a way to keep eternal youth, what I would not give for such a
gift, and that's the honest truth."

As Lucy spoke her thoughts aloud, unaware of who would listen, that Devil heard Lucy by
the fire, delighted by her vision.

He rubbed his hands and called his demons, saying "Gather round and listen. Tonight Lucy
gets her hearts desire, a demonic granted prison."

Lucy tired by the fire and quickly fell asleep, unaware that to her home the underworld
did creep.

The house was eerily silent as the devil entered in. He stood before Lucy with eyes
ablaze, and a delicious tempting sin

"Awaken child and hear my words; a deal I come to make. In return for beauty, wealth and
fame, your soul I'd like to take."

Lucy opened up her eyes, this could not be what it seemed, until that which was the devil
smiled, saying "Here Lucy, take you're dreams."

Her need for vanity was her vice. Her obsession was her looks. What harm, she wondered,
could there be if this offer she now took?

"Satan why do you tempt me so? Do you consider me so weak that I would chose to sell my
soul for trinkets, jewels and beads?"

"My child," the devil then replied, "I see just what you seek. I already know what's in
your heart. Tonight I took a peep."

"Well maybe I could make a deal, but my soul is not for sale. Surely there is some
service I could provide, that my looks should never fail?"

Satan knew what Lucy meant. More, I'm sure, than she, "Agreed," he answered looking
pleased, "Now here's what the terms will be..."

Was wird man sagen,

What will they say,
what about the past,
no travelling, so they say,
where are the clouds, what is left
of time, nothing more was heard.
We say we are alive,
the ocean got its tide, as they call it,
which does not want to miss the beach.
What shall I say about my life?
Was everything a fatamorgana,
a grace of a blind man,
who can see me with his eyes?
An endless silence had set in,
with my face came a second,
melted as if it was rain,
over alleys and houses,
scorched with a red gleam
a cloud is wandering.
Carry my picture from the town,
teach me to dance.

Fire of Desire

Fire of Desire
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Held as a willing captive to my erotic desires, there are no boundaries that either you or I
set or require
Through out the seemingly endless night I sate my olympian desire held in check for so long
until now
I apologize as you learn that sometime what sleeps is for reasons good and yet pain and
pleasure mingles
As you wantonly submit yourself in all ways to my needs such a tender and long chaste
woman's willing flesh
Mere minutes before the morning comes you leave me so very reluctantly as the knowledge
Of the forbidden passions unleashed by my touch and the burning yearning chasm awakened
By my gentle precise kiss is now a thing for which you will crave eternally
Understand one thing, what transpired between you and I was far from pure yet so very
natural
Even more so it was carnal and primal, the animal instinct will now and always burn
For my touch like a fire deep inside you longing into the sleepless night
I stop you from making promises and rash decisions after you have learned firsthand
That the whispers of my gift and the status of my love tools were not even remotely
exaggerated
You and I both had a destined desire from the first time our eyes danced in the dim dining
rooms light
And you already know that I am not to be possessed, only briefly tasted
So return to the comfort and security you chose long before you ever saw me
He's at home and he knows that I am now and forever your blessing and curse
For you will many times tell the tale as the chosen few have before you
About the time you made love to me as you say; No it's not a lie it really happened
Ask him he'll tell you, and no he's not an icon, just a man larger than life and powerful
Beautiful is how he made me feel, he lit this fire inside me
And it burns so bright and deeply into the night.
This is war, these are my enemy's.
Standing at attention astride my destiny i look over mine enemy on both fronts. The different
colors representing pride, adrenaline pulsing threw my eyes, scrupling the battle field of this
war yet to come.  Beasts of fire and steal exploding upon the earth as the signal man calls
us to arms and the sweet cackling sound goes into frenzied crescendo. My rib cage now
being beaten and battered by my heart, overloaded with bloo,d fear and adrenaline on the
verge of explosion. As life explodes inside my ocean the narcotic produced inside me creates
a euphoric calm as it all slows down. Time itself bends to my will and stalls in my space living
a lifetime inside a second. my senses rush, hearing each individual heart beat echo of the
walls of eternity. Now vision sharpens, eyes dissecting the awaiting challenges like a scalpel
threw warm flesh. As i feel i am at my breaking point as a human being and cannot survive
let alone rise any further, i do and the battle begins. The only thing dwarfing the mammoth
sound is the blistering speed...
Claws tear at the soilI beneath me, slinging me forward flying on a cushion of earth.
Looking back into the pack of ravenous beasts clawing at each other just to get up to me.
  I jettison into the heavens i fear the sun has turned against me too. the sweat the pounding
the abuse this searing heat bellowing upon the earth choking the very winds. In this river  of
sweat blood and tears i feel my soul purified.  Back on this field of glory i can see victory
bathed in a checkered robe within my grasp.  As i stand in the circle victorious  the sacrifices
are vindicated. I now greet my fellow warriors for we have sweat and bled together.
 These bonds run deeper than the trough of friendship can bare.
This is motocross, these are my brother's.
In Defense of Africa
I have heard people declaim
That Africa is the dark continent
Plagued by war, sickness and famine
The aridity of such a claim
Has left my people to pine.
Yes, I grant through the years,
Africa has suffered from war, famine, and sickness.
Yet, dear reader, is it Africa alone?
From East to West,
Death has reared himself a throne.
I beseech thee, O reader, let thy ear be attentive
To the confessions of Robin.
For these declamations
Have led many into error.
It is not my intention
To absolve Africa of her share of the blame
Yet my beloved continent,
Is both home to the good and the bad
The best and the worst
Why then dwell only, on all that is base.
Lineal son of Africa that I am
My heart bleeds -
Seeing that the soothsayers and naysayers
Are moving among our villages and cities
Congesting our airwaves
Shamefully declaring
That the Ides of March have come
Unlike Caesar, I dare - reply that they haven’t come and will never come!
For mine experiences have taught me a lot of things
And I dare you to discard that label hoary
Coined many and many years ago by many a missionary.
Allow me then to tell you Africa’s story
For that is my sole ambition.
Of her past glory
I will say no more
For the pyramids of Egypt will testify for eternity
The Great Zimbabwe Ruins
Stand tall and erect in the Savannah plains
A monument to the greatness of their builders
Don’t you dare believe that fable
Told to many a school boy in colonial Africa days gone by
That mine ancestors could not create such a piece of art
Just go to my village this day
And you will see many stonehouses standing
A testimony to our heritage.
Her natural beauty is second to none
Heaven, excluded - for I am talking to men not angels.
Since I am weary
Let me tarry. God willing will continue tomorrow!
Black Hole Heart
Surrounded by endless space
Stars and moons
Make up my home
But its all devoured in one second by the black hole heart.
I should run
Instinctively I know
But I’m curious
I must get a better look
I moved closer
My heart pounds with excitement
Adrenaline rushes through my body
Closer,
Closer
I sense danger
I know I should step back
But you are magnificent
I feel like I’ve seen it before
Closer,
Closer
Too close
I slip over the edge
I’ve reached a point of no return
I’ve fallen into your black hole heart.
You lured me forward
And sucked me in
I can’t breath
I clamp my eyes shut
But they burst open
Blood shot
And foggy eyed
They burn at the sight of you.
You laugh as you see me struggle
I’m glad I can amuse you
As the weight crushes every bone in my body
Compressing me to nothing.
No light will surpass
No reflection
I suffocate in this vacuum of dark nothingness
But I don’t want air
The sooner this ends the better
There is only one way out and that is Death
There is no escaping the black hole heart.
My heart beats loud in my ears
Only a for a few more times
I go to a happier place
I turn to my thoughts
My memories
My dreams
Thinking about them makes me smile
Even at a time like this
The more I think about it the more real it becomes
But the black hole punctures through my thoughts
Ripping through the scenery of my imagination
Destroying everything I love.
I truly have nothing now
I’m as empty as you are
Amazing how something that brings in everything near
Is so hollow
An empty heart.
You must have felt some pity in that empty heart of yours
Then again, I am quite pitiful
You spit me out into a now vacant space
But sadly,
I’ll get swallowed again
For I will fall for your black hole heart every time.
On the World's Last Day
There is a hole,
In my Ozone,
The layer I keep all to myself,
For selfish needs,
The tendencies and statistics will alarm.
But say once,
And say a million times,
That I am wrong for sleeping inside...
I am aware of such forgiveness,
I am letting go of this self centered world.
And how I have shown,
Nothing too powerful.
I was devoted but was it obscured?
The ocular lense you look through is faulty,
But it gets the best reviews,
Among the people of the world...
Study me under surgical lights,
Monotonous and scientific lies.
Oh, how you are pittied in the eyes of much more than men.
Calculating and debating,
Over something I know to be true,
I would speak up,
I would die for this,
But I am bound and my lips are glued.
Gravity ceases to stay,
My heart I set free,
Go up, up and away,
Fly into what they see as oblivion,
But I know you are going home,
I am going home.
A mental escape,
To take the pain away,
It's cold and as I close my eyes,
My arms writhe in agony and my legs tremble,
I silently say 'goodbye'.
Goodbye to this world,
You were just a purgatory for much more.
Soon I will be up in the sky,
Knocking on golden plated doors.
The turn of a page,
The secret gestures of meaningless numbers,
And whoa,
To you for killing me so.
You sew up the lifeless experiment,
My body,
No match for such a civilization as your's.
He will see me coming,
And He will see that this is what you show.
So for the last seconds of the world,
Before it all has to end,
You can repent or keep on disposing of bodies,
Throw them down the vent.
Into the fire,
We are reborn,
And even in death we do not stray.
I feel sorry for you because I know,
What could happen to men like you,
On the world's last day.
Revenge Part 2
With a very shrieking gasp, she drops to her knees.
“This cannot be true, no, please, please!”
“I'm afraid that it is, and there’s nothing we can do.
So I turned into this angle, to watch over you.”
Emma climbed to her feet,
her heart now skipping beat.
“I know just what I'll do,
revenge from me for you.”
“Emma Lee are you mad?
You cannot kill your dad!”
“But my dear, your disapproval is not enough
to keep me standing though.”
“With this journey if you go,
I cannot watch over you.”
“Then to you my love, I say goodbye
until the day I die.”
The angle paused and held his breath,
blew her a kiss, and then he left.
Soaring high and far away,
hours before the light of day.
Now in this meadow Emma is in
so far away from the king.
A king of evil, king of hate,
the king that took her one soul mate.
She headed out west
through forest not used to guests.
Guided by her once pure soul,
now as dark as a forest troll.
As she stumbles across an old wood cabin
and on the door she starts her tapping.
“Listen up I'm Emma Lee,
open up, please feed and shelter me.”
The broke down cabin door is open
and she sees that most the house is broken.
All but a short, dark, stocky fellow
in the doorway, greeting “...hello?”
He took her in, gave her food and dress
while he tried to clean up his awful mess.
He let her tell her tragic story,
then his face lit up with glory.
“Your man is angle, of purest light
to aid in revenge would end your life.
But I am warlock, a different breed.
I can help you out, if those pearls are for me?”
Emma sat up and looked at the man
“You want my pearls? Why yes, yes you can!”
She took off the necklace and tossed them to him
as she sat busy in thought, contemplating sin.
Vaults of Vexation
I. The Lost
The sting of pain
It never leaves!
My heart
It lingers…
So vastly!
So deeply!
And the internal tears
They continue too!
Persistent
Falling without a sound
Abiding here
Still
Until, they are found
Begrudgingly to quit
Deliberate they fall
Drip…drip……drip
Like blood from a letting
Into the abyss
Reaching through a darkness
To a never ending call
Like icicles in a mist
II. The Hope
A new founding faith
A shield
A cocoon to swathe
To embrace
To befall
An assist in the conspiracy
Of the healing
That suspends
The never ending
Comes to a stalemate
And stalls
A pleasant smile
A facade
Or forged out trials of fire
Although genuine
Is it only surface deep
This my only guise
The inadvertent beguiles
My secret secrets
My own keys to the keep
III. The Realization
The mysterious mind
Mystifying and true
Searches
Against the heart
Sheering and steep
The answers to quell
From chasms of watery well
Aches within
Continues to seek
As I
Struggle to exist
In a matrix of melancholy mazes
When alone to ponder
Through haphazard hazes
Sunsets
Turning of another page
Plagued from enigmas
Time the healer
The savior, the sage!
A resurrecting redeemer
Adhesive at best
Holds me together
And keeps me from afraids
The scars
That once defined me
Further now, ceasing to fest
Fading to less
And to less
I will
Go on!
To an ending
To a further age
Truly this has been
My temporal test!
