Beautiful Butterfly

Life is beautiful in many different ways.
But some things happen..things you can't even explain.
You feel you've come closer to someone by feeling their pain.
Sometimes I wonder..
"Is this thing called life, just a game?"

Some people that you meet, come in and out of your life.
But some of those people you think to yourself,
"I'll never forget you."
Now...looking back and seeing that I only got to hang out with you once..is my biggest regret.

I think about you every night now,
I think about how many good memories we could have shared.
I think of how connected I feel to you because we've felt the same pain.
I think of "Why's god now letting us all go to sleep with a frown on our face."

Everyday I wonder why everyone keeps losing people,
people that they loved,
people that they looked up to,
or even people that they didn't know.
But why you, why now?

They always say,
"It was their time to go, their much happier now."
I'm thinkin...your so loved, so beautiful, so talented, so young.
WHY?

My heart is pounding because now all I'm thinking of is, what's next?
What more do we all need to happen?
How much more pain can he put upon us?
How many more lives is he gonna take?

Here I am, alone in my bedroom,
With just my thought for company,
I wish that you would just walk in with a smile on your face and a sparkle in each of your
eyes,
and finally, sitting here, with you, beside you, I’d just about realize...

Things happen for a reason,
things you can't explain.

It hurts inside to say good-bye,
it hurts like I just need to cry

When I met you, you looked so sweet and kind.
Why’d they take you, you didn't want to die.
All you did was spread you’re wings,
and up and up you’d fly.
Fly away butterfly, for you are in my heart.
Fly away butterfly, we'll never be apart.

R.I.P Dwayne

Dwayne
How stupid could you be
you were smoking weed and jumping off cliffs that you didnt know
off to your friends you were trying to show
when you didnt even know how to swim
did you think you would just pretend?
and everything would be fine in the end
were you thinking at all?
i hope i break through some walls
because many people here are missing you now
you were just 18, still just a teen
you didnt even graduate yet and one party for the first day of summer
in quaries who's depths outnumbered your deepest depths, took you from all of us
you didnt even know my area well enough, being from Whitehall, not Slatington
and yet you decided to try and swim, so what, you jumped in?
off of a fifty foot wall, into a big 250 foot deep hole
you never came up
and for quiet some time your friends didnt realize it
so now your gone, drowned, because you had to do something not so smart
no one will really remember your name, you'll just be the boy from Whitehall
that died in our quarrie, that ended the games
hearts will break, people will scream, from nightmares that you caused
ill miss you, even though i didnt know you at all
Dwayne
how could you be so stupid

Stop Crucifying the Truth

Stop crucifying the truth
How many times will you try to conquer this truth,
born to a people who are held to a truce,
of a lie?

Compromises and deceptions are running wild,
uncovering truth but no where to hide,
Now you must abide.

With a bridle in your mouth and with compromise holding tight,
you must fight, for truth to be saved
or die to the grave

Real truth is on the manifest,
put me to the test.
I will stand with my sword in my hand
and truth will rise again

Truth reveals your past, present, and destiny,
 can you see the reality?
Stop crucifying the truth; with your hair, colors, nails, clothes
and most of with the words you pose.

Reveal your self through truth
and don’t turn away,
the creator is watching, listening and taking note,
of a people who has the truth,
but wear a fake coat.

Stop crucifying the truth

Conformed, complacent, criticized, clueless
and don’t realize,
your demise

Truth is life
and you must fight
all the lies insight

Until truth prevail
 from this dark ass hell,
of reality

Truth (the messiah)
 will rise again
and become a friend

Killing Spree

In the worst of times people lose their faith,
spewing words of hate through frustrations,
Turning to crimes of passion,
killing decent individuals for insignificant
reasons, or committig acts of treason,
The presure is not an excuse to set demons loose,
The heinous acts herald that the world is in despair,
and people in power need to show that they care,
Families are being fragmented by senseles acts,
Police Forces are being disseminated by officials'
pacts,
The criminals are roaming free causing all sorts
of melees,
The downtrodden are running a muck,
Citizens are clingin to survival in the midst of chaos,
Yet, who can they trust?
when their lives have become an open season for
ammunition,
Killing Sprees have gone from a rarity to everyday
occurrences,
The lack of hope has sent a society spiraling into
a deep, dark abyss......

This Noose Around My Neck

I have this noose around my neck because I stole a horse.
After you hang me, you won't even feel remorse.
You asked if I have anything to say so I'm saying it.
This is an evil law and you're evil for obeying it.
Lots of people are gathered around and they're cheering.
You people are all horrible, I can't believe what I'm hearing.
I should be scared but I'm too angry to feel fright.
You're going to kill me and you know it isn't right.
Those were my last words, I have nothing else to say.
Except that you'll face God's wrath on Judgement day.

(This fictional poem takes place in the 19th century.)
