Sunday dawns bright by Little Bay,
Rise from dream flights as sleepy stays.

Explore the space of rental spree,
Succinct fine pace Air BnB.

A homestay neat as tempo scales,
A lovely feat as trip avails.

Rain keeps things wet and off we go,
Car drives to set agenda flow.

Seek out the place: The Rock Sydney,
Old wharf, holds space: flea market spree.

Baby sleeps well in stroller ride,
Yes you can tell how outing strides.

Sit down to eat at the Pancakes:
Feast on fine feats with gourmet stakes.

Hungry mouths feast on lovely meals,
Dessert at least completes warm feel.

Then by and by, we walk around,
Savour fond highs upon these grounds.

Stop by coin stall to pick fine choice,
Souvenirs call to buy fond poise.

By artist stall: caricatures,
Stop to see all, such fine textures.

Stop to sit down by Munich brew house,
Beer sips, cheer clowns, with taste aroused.

Photo snapshots gain currency,
Laughter frames lot in funny spree.

And as we pass hot mull wine shouts,
Sip on warm glass as we stroll out.

Car ride home feels a carefree high,
A relaxed thrill flavours our sighs.

Old dwellings here tells a story,
Strange and odd cheer to feel and see.

Along the way sheer curious looks,
A pleasant play as flair now hooks.

Rest for a while till dusk descends,
Then seek to style what to attend.

OLDE SJI BRAS BASAH ROAD, 1971
By Leon Enriquez

Morning Glory
Florals on a fence
Violet blooms beauty
Plain in sparkling sense

Olde school field
By Bras Basah Road
Boys and football yield
To dawn’s purple load

~~~~~~~~~
Dawn now brings
Such sparkling creepers
Olde tints of fond flings
Such transient flowers
We recall
Days of yesterday
Sounds of lost footfalls
Echoes of school days
~~~~~~~~~

For a while
Till that harsh sun burns
Faded dying smiles
To the earth return

Brief your tale
On the dusty road
Yet your truth avails
Of brief surreal loads

~~~~~~~~~
Now here we
Go on our way there
To visit and see
To be yet nowhere
Old men think
Upon times now gone
Laughter on verge brink
Olde days and lost dawns
~~~~~~~~~

Lost school daze
Dribbling on that field
Our cheeky fond craze
Olde time humour yields

For a while
You and I and all
Taste feel and try smiles
To pile sweet and gall

~~~~~~~~~
Olde school grounds
Memory lane thoughts
New cityscape bounds
Olde souls recall lots
Lost yet found
Olde echoes call out
Floral fence abound
Hear sunny glee pout
~~~~~~~~~

Here by grace
Each to each olde souls
Journey quest we trace
Incomplete yet whole

By the way
A restless wit primes
Just another day
Grateful for our time

~~~~~~~~~
Those days tint
Our old boys’ refrain
Violet floral hints
On the rail fence strain
Morning Glory
Let’s not live in vain
But seed love’s fancy
As light sparkles plain
~~~~~~~~~

At Some Such Appointed Hour

Deeply immersed in dispassionate thought,
  Of that moment which comes but once amidst
 The whirling storm, daring Hannibal fixed
His eagle eye upon the chance and caught
   The glory old Gods didst offer unto him;
 He who kept his head whilst all others failed
Has known that instant demand from within:-
  Fury borrows frenzy as needs avails.
 Should all men, at some such appointed hour,
Find themselves at their own fast closing
    Gate,
   Then bravely toss the dice and chance
     With fate...
 For what worth mere chance if not empowered?
Better die as Hector dragged by the heels --
   To be borne back homewards laid on
 Your shield!

Take things easy with charm and poise,
Keep company with a calm, sure voice.

Choice is the key to live each day,
Here by this sea watch children play.

Noise fakes a stake with empty cup,
True worth just makes goodness fill up.

Live well your spell with heart set right,
Dance where you dwell with profound sight.

Do what you will and just be true,
Cheer ever fills as fond joy cues.

Know what you know and just keep still,
Truth and trust show the way you feel.

Don't think too much beyond your path,
Purge then odd grudge and smile at stuff.

The perfect man is but a fool,
Do all you can content and cool.

Here on this trip be good to all,
Yes get a grip with sweet and gall.

This outing brief tells of your tale,
Cheer shadows grief as truth avails.

Share a fond smile as people pass,
Make life worthwhile ere broken glass.

Follow your heart that knows the way,
For love's an art you live and play.

Seek finesse sure and balance here,
Style fond allure with mystic cheer.

On earthly grounds align your way,
Keep sight and sound with peace each day.

Notice the play of forces then,
Elements sway as movement blends.

Mountain and wind and sea and land,
Plain sight sets scene to echo span.

Plan to prevail upon these earth,
Apt stance avails from poise of birth.

Know how to be such harmony,
Yes you can see truth and beauty.

Geomancy strokes the steps you take,
Dare to free choke as intent makes.

Abide with grace in grand free-flow,
Affluence embrace in vivid glow.

An ancient science can shape wise date,
Sense how thought binds life with grand fate.

Go with true show in subtle ease,
Know how things flow with mind at peace.

Feel heart and soul and body fine,
Balance marks whole as joy aligns.

Premium Member Farewell

The moment comes for sad farewell;
A brief song sums goodbye that tells;
Feelings go numb with parting spell.

So much of art in lines that speak;
Words from the heart with ebbs and peaks;
Space and time part in groans and tweaks.

Days in the sun where time unfolds;
Nights on the run in dreams untold;
Jest and wit pun in hot and cold.

Words tell a tale of fond fine verse;
Hope sparks a sale in faith once terse;
Love now avails what kind peace serves.

This journey here is but a flash;
A certain cheer marks a bright dash;
Pulse now must steer a lovely bash.

Verse weaves a glow in simple zest;
We come and go much like the rest;
A sanguine flow in gainful quest.

Here at the gate the weary pass;
Each to a fate in looking glass;
Set on a date in sacred trust.

Our ample daze is but a test;
Our problem craze brings out the best;
Our hidden maze forks out the rest.

Go now in peace as journey trends;
Go bring new ease to dare attend;
Go find increase in moments grand.

Farewell my friends from way back when;
Farewell to spends of now and then;
Farewell to blends of wordplay stand.

Here words can niche a sacred shore;
Find moments rich to word some more;
Write to dare reach with verse galore.

Press on and write to dare now share;
Ply witty cite to show you care;
Prime each new bite with more to spare.

Thank you so much for this sure stage;
Poise frees as such a poetry page;
Voice must indulge soul from life's cage.

The moment starts and ends too soon;
Watch cryptic art word pain's high noon;
Now mind and heart hurl a fond boon.

Premium Member What Dreams May Come

Heed my sad tale
Where echoes strain;
Seek a lost heart,
What love avails;
Stumble through pain,
Dare motive start.

Time matters not,
Space feels surreal
A journey far,
Sad grief weaves plot;
Here wind and gale,
Ply beyond par.

Deep beyond earth,
Where terror hurls;
Despair lies deep,
Death buries birth;
A nightmare world
Where guilt robs sleep.

Place beyond place,
Time beyond time,
Lost in the depths;
Space within space,
Chime within chime,
Lost beyond breath!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pain and despair,
Guilt and regret;
Loss beyond urge,
Terror that bares;
Cold burdens fret,
Burn, surge and purge.
Dark blackness mars,
Lost beyond gleam;
Dark despair wrought,
Nightmares stretch far;
Terror floods dream
Where light is naught.
A realm of pain
Where no light streams;
Despair mocks sense,
Grip of vain stain;
Lost beyond dreams,
No sense of tense.
Confusion sums
Echoes of pain
No one can reach;
Replays outcome,
Blame beyond gain
In senseless pitch.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

See what makes sense,
What fashions feel;
Sense what you see
Beyond mere tense;
What spurs sure will
To know and be.

Glimpse a known path,
What light that falls;
Path beyond glimpse,
Knowing brings stuff;
What you recall,
In precious themes.

Each to a dawn
In sunlit hours;
A hint that sums
A solemn morn;
Both yours and ours:
What dreams may come.

My load burdens me

Trying to keep up but the load keeps me sinking, everyday a new struggle arise, my strength fail to keep up, the demand so high, running out of breath, while on my knees trying to pray.

Dismantling blows, from every direction, all aimed at fracturing my spirit, but still hope in the unknown, comforting my struggle. Snooping around for help, where none avails, my hopeless persuit.

Thought Earth was fun to be but mountains in my way, keep escalating, sometimes light in my tunnel run off with my strength, look for objects to lean on but all I have are these blade shoulders of mine, all as casualties from my survival war.

Trying to nurse my faith, the pressure sitting in so strong, breath in my lungs delapitates, beeping sound of my pulse, waving in dissipating sequences. This coffin I was brought to Earth in and today is not yet the day I give in.

 All I'm is a child of the soil but this soil try all means to consume the last of my least presence, if dust demand me back, never shall my struggle claim this victory
