Go

Where will you go world lies in wickedness
A position no not the abyss
Not a religion but a possession purifying passion
Not wishful thinking minds
Come out come out my people But where will you Go
Renewing of the sanctified kind
One blood one people one God
Bring them to the Lord purifying passion
Come out come out my people But where will you Go
the net the good the bad and the odd
The Lord makes clean vessel's
It is he the separates pure
Come out come out my people But where will you Go
Hiding in Hi-ways Bi-ways
You Go bring them in he prayed
The Lord cleans made very clear purifying passion
Lay down nets before water disappears
Come out come out my people
For Jesus loved them more than these
But will you Go purifying passion

Loyalty-----And----Royalty---Required

LOYALTY AND ROYALTY REQUIRED
It was castle building time
A home for a charming prince
and a princess who was sometimes aloof
Time for royalty to have a roof
A ceiling should the sky fall in
Or if a falling star fell on them t’would be a sin
And they could keep that celestial sign in a jug with a top of well forged tin
To keep that keepsake in
But as a falling star who has no wings to fly
The prince and princess had need of a castle built castle high

So those peasants built all the walls brick by mortared brick
Because it was time to build a castle grand
For the rulers of a pleasant land
Wherein no one required an election or a vote
They were all too busy creating the castle’s mote
Where great lizards will seek pray and guard the pair quite well
And of course on top of the spire was a single silver bell
It tolled to tell the people they had all done well

But the very next morning before the mortar had set
It rained down as if to say “for eons everything here will be wet”
And then the cracks started to crumble
And bricks began to tumble
As the bell and spire sliced the air and both to the ground fell
And looking back now, the people hadn’t done so very well

And thusly was gone what many had built
While the townsfolk felt only unwarranted guilt
Because the princess left her once princely domain
Which left the prince in pretty much perpetual pain

The habitants recall before the rains came and it was surely and certainly sublime
When the town’s folk gathered up what they required because it had been castle building time

How Can a Bird That's Born For Joy Sit In a Cage and Sing

I am the wounded, standing
nude in thy midst
Showing to your eyes the
stripes of thy iniquities
Tears dripping down my chin
as drops of rain from the grey
clouds
My face wrinkled with the pain
of the violent conflicts within
this ancient house of stones
My body bruised by the
whipping of your politics and
democracy
My hearing deafened by the
loud cries of innocence and
justice crying for their freedom
of being
my soul blackened and
sorrowed by our loss of sense
and hope of morrow
The memory of our heroes
which in its remembering
should teach us not and never
to be inhuman again,
Is but a mere miasma to this
generation of a people who are
victims of the lash of tyrannism
A people whose sad silence is
audible from the quiet Limpopo
banks to the turbulence of the
Zambezi flow
From the wonderful sights of
the eastern mountains to the
frightening caves of the
western side that harbor the
spirits of our ancestors
A people that woke up
everyday with an unutterable
question of survival,
A people I stand up for now
with a blasphemous finger to
this council....
'How can a bird that's born for
joy sit in a cage and sing...'
We shall cry!!

The Replacements

sense when did Isreal replace the Nazi's as
an evil oppressive regime
how in the world did it let APARTHIDE!
become it's terrible theme
why are it's officers acting like
the old German SS
terrorizing citizens, women and children
in distress
aren't they the people who from Egypt
God set free
who from time to time, God reminded;
foreigners are just like me
aren't they the people saved from the
holocost
why would they do to others
from what they were saved from
and nations fought
just look at what happened over there
at first i really didn't care
"they deserve it" i said to myself
everyday saying "they're doing it to themselves"
then the Palistinians said they won the war
and at first; i couldn't see
but for a man who loves Israel
yet blind, i cannot be
my prayer is still for Isreal
when it is compleat
that it will be peaceful and not evil
and with foreigners live in peace
