The rose blooms for a few days
The wind will blow her perfume away
Left in the admirer an affection;
And the sweet aroma in meditation
My Dear…
I want to caress you with nice words
But I could not find any bywords
If I could get ones
To whisper near your ears
They would be an illusive cheer
Because today you’re like a pretty rose
Next day your aroma will be away
Just your beauty, in my heart, will stay.
A life surrounded by friends
But seems lonesome
Flourish together
Then finally fall apart.
My Dear…
The Universe is not our Heaven.
Earth gives us the air to live
But not for survive
Should we arrogantly admire just the shape?
Let us fasten heart to heart,
Let us unite soul to soul,
Love and live together
In the spiritual world,
Wait for our final day…
Every souper has poetic talent, I can't ignore and
the list of my favourite poets is long enough
and it's too tough to choose
Only One as very Special.
Yet, if to select the Special Poet
the first name that promptly flashed
in my mind
is Hilo Poet, a loving chap,
though a generation gap
persisting between us.
I am genuine admirer of him.
His creation, theme, style allure me
touching core of mind.
Sometimes his technique seems unique
Over all, I am charmed with most of his poems
claiming specific significance.
I can feel his compassionate generous heart
and cherish adoration for his outlooks and ideas.
Once he was absent in PS page for a long period
I missed him lot
As he was seen again, I rejoiced and wished to voice loud
‘Welcome Back.’
I specifically enjoy the Contests sponsored by him,
mostly demanding instant appeal.
I feel happy and sappy to accept those catchy concepts.
After all Hilo Poet is very Dear to me.
I worship you for the plan made for me
From the beginning you knew the tree
The sun, moon, stars nestled at height just right
An atmosphere that surrounds with good light
Through the centuries you knew when to come
To redeem humanity and touch man some
Bringing hope to a lost and dying world
With your teachings, blood, sweat, tears earth did swirl
The guider, comforter, holder of my heart
Omniscience, all knowledge from the very start
Capturing my heart with all that you made
Creating it from your words needed no spade
Exalt my redeemer, friend, comforter
Valentine, my heart is an admirer
(Second attempt at a sonnet. This is for the "I love you because" contest.)
Upon my pilgrimage yearning for love.
I found myself surrounded by a plethora of petals.
Day and night I searched for a fragrance.
An aroma that would lead to you.
As twilight dimmed clementine horizons,
there you were,
glistening in the moonlight.
Your scent seduced my senses,
my heart became a willing admirer.
Something awoke that day,
forgotten emotions suppressed
by fate's injustices, were reborn,
illuminated like the blazing sun.
Yet such is the fragility of fate -
as sins from the heavens poured,
forming a turbulent tempest,
you wilted, and I was unable to save you.
In the sadness of silence,
I watched as your petals floated away
so I waited,
hoping the winds would take me too
but I'm still here -
Isolated - shivering, soaking in misery,
without a petal to call my own.

Take advantage of those non enduring things,
they are similar in swiftness to evanescent time:
it's the cleverest thief stealing your last dime,
who saves in an amber jar copper pennies?
Does youth only last for twenty brief springs?
Staring into the clearest mirror simply deceives:
that smooth face will no longer glow with beauty,
fine lines and wrinkles could appear after forty!
Wonder why movies stars look younger than us?
It's not privilege or favoritism: it's the tons of money
that make miracles happen: while we turn green with envy;
don't be angry with yourself, avoid any unnecessary stress!
Throw away the expensive cream jars, they create false images,
they can't give back the radiance of lost youth as believed;
Aphrodite knew that secret and kept it locked for endless ages,
Eros was her admirer and lover: no elixir was ever needed!
Alieu A. Bah Ask:
How art thou faring bard?
FEMALE BARD: Love art faring well in my heart.
IT WAS you, the master of wit and charm;
With masterful words you have stirred my heart to become
Unburdened, by the keeping OF it!
I can now release the beauty of the love once hidden there, UNLEASHING POEMS FROM MY SOUL IS ONLY BROUGHT FORTH BY ONE WHO'S EARS ARE DIRECTED TO RECEIVE THEM.AND YOU MY YOUTHFUL AND MOST NOBLE BARD HAVE BRING LIGHT INTO MY DARK CORNERS.ASHE'
MALE BARD: Truth have been issued for your blessed heart. Unleashing with such might that I fall prostrate at that power of love. The bard shall thru' eternity sing thy praises of love.
FEMALE BARD: The bard be too jolly if he only sings of love. LOVE lands on tender ears...and my warrior will be weakened. Deceptions of love can blind one’s eyes my Admirer be my Admiral, my warrior king, must be equipped with the sword of two edges.
One to protect me and one to cut deep into my core. Bow my noble bard to no man nor woman, but with a slightly tilted head and a watchful eye. Protect your heart from folly. Really you cannot afford a weakened state not even for me. My lover must be not only a jolly Bard but … My vigilante.

POETRY AND LOVE / KNOWS NO BOUNDARIES
I am not shy but I choose to love you in secrecy,
where it is only I,
I know you are not single,
daily I am praying for your heartbreak,
so I can be your nurse and nurse your heartache.
My gallery is a store of your pictures,
every time you post, I update,
being a secret admirer, my fate,
I know your eyes aren't mine,
but I am willing to learn.
Before I retire, I stare into your eyes,
every time I am lost in your smiles,
I choose to love you in secrecy,
where it is only I,
I am not shy,
but the heart wants what it wants.
Like a passenger waiting to board,
I will patiently wait for my turn,
turn to make you mine,
but for now, I choose to hide you,
hide you in between my heart walls.
To my secret love, I love you,
each heart beat, echoes your name,
this feeling wild than wildfire, hard to tame,
if you look into my eyes they will say the same,
but I choose to love you in secrecy,
where my heart is safe.

In all honesty
I believe Love is actually blind
That she lost her road
And headed straight
Into the mess, she lays in today
I hope we all find her, bathe her and clothe her
Cos she's really a mess right now...
Love used to be the gatekeeper
Between the legs of young girls
Keeping the invaders out in the wild
But these days,
She's more like the green lamp on the traffic lights
Beaconing every car to drive that route
Deep into 'The Virgin Close'
Love used to be the backbone of every man
The strength and blood that pushes men to fight
Work and be the better person
But these days
She's become the gravity pulling every man down
She's the pickaxe used by gold-diggers
Digging the wealth out of our young men
Leaving them broke—like some shattered glass
Love was so innocent back in the day
All she knew was just letters
Written by some secret admirer
And believe me
The shadiest part of the letter is
You've got beautiful brown eyes
That's a classical one
But these days
Love does Sexting
She's all about the unspeakable...
Love is so rusty
She needs some work done on her
She needs rehabilitation
From her figure to her concept
Especially her use in this context
She is meant to be the binder
Between us all
But sadly, Love is blind
We've gotta spit on the ground
Make mud and rub in her eyes
As we proclaim the phrase (Jn. 9:6)...
Here's Mud in Your Eye
And all will come to know that
Love is not blind
Love is not proud
Love is not self-seeking
Love keeps no record of wrong
Rather, Love is kind
Love is patient
Love is true
Love protects
Love perseveres
Love is beautiful
Just like the Sea...

Your avant-garde home fills a crucial niche
ensures the perpetuation of outrageous kitsch
The painting on the wall entitled 'Insemination'
keeps this admirer on the brink of regurgitation
That chlorophyll-fish oil drink your butler foisted on me
helps me every fifteen minutes or so to pee
As for your 'petrified out-of-water deep sea plants'
Don't look now; they're on fire with carpenter ants
Then there's your 'mahvelous' retro pet rock collection
pinched, no doubt, from the local House of Corrections
I must confess that your house is, indeed, quite impressive
~ considering that your compulsions are beyond obsessive
She enters a city of neon lights
clothed with dark intentions
She is a creature of mystery
strolling through the shadows of time, forever young
Having caught the eye of an admirer
He soon melts into her charms
His crimson tie gives her a thrill
She is poised for a night of passion
But dawn finds her lover alone,
with a 'hickey' on his neck
She is not there to meet the sun,
Having vanished into the night
She enters the city each night
dark and dangerous like a secret,
always ready for a night of passion
But first, a bite!
