Kitty Ghost Host

My cat Champ's a gracious host this Halloween night
Filling each bag with three Snickers and a Kit-Kat bite
But is reality blurring?
Champ floats by me purring
He's a translucent ghost-host, such a frightful sight!

Sprucy Lucy

Sprucy Lucy watering blooms
As pooch lounges, the kitten grooms
Each sprout peaks out toward the sun
Rising in vibrant hues who’ll stun

Lucy speaks sweetly to the pup
As she watches kitty act up
Picking bright flowers, just for fun
Rising in vibrant hues who’ll stun

Sprucy Lucy loves Summer’s buds
Watering each shoot til’ it floods
Her friends know she can’t be outdone

startled fox a mere kit

startled fox turns with his fluffy tail down
His fur he wears like an amber kingly gown
Against the forest wall, he gives so much color
Hiding in the thicket is his older brother
His teeth have barely come in, he is a baby
Will he run off like a frightened deer? Possibly
He skitters away; now his beautiful tail is

Kit the Camel

I had a camel named Kit.
It was smart, but liked to spit.
	I asked for a kiss.
	It gave me a hiss.
It did not want to kiss one bit!

My Calm Kit

A recipe perfected over time,
going for a long walk with my headphones;
Severe melodies make me feel sublime,
lightened up by all of those luscious tones; 
Feel good movie that warms me to my bones 
surefire way to leave me with a wide grin;
Tacos and pizza are always a win 
I am able to relax for a

She who rest me
Might I labor
To understand
Her evilness

 66 burgers grilled rare ( mixture of chuck and brisket)
66 fried fish fillets battered and fried

Onion and currant spread for burger
Cucumber and relish tater sauce for the fish

Cheese spread for burgers
2 cups of swiss
2 cups of pepper jack
1 teaspoon of mc cormicks
  

Heartbreak Repair Kit

Despite endless attempts to avoid it
We can't sidestep it forever
At one point or another
We all sail into stormy weather

When your ticket gets punched
You'll be flooded with sadness
Turbulently twisting and turning
In a constant state of madness

Next comes the hardest part
Your ticker just can't take it anymore
Furiously feeling the crack in your heart
Misery making you crumble to

Before I opened the carton,
   I’d chose the name Kit,
      Thinking of strong Wild West women.

Our little girl, Gigi, ran to my bedside, barking
   Excitedly, “A present?  Aaarrr-ooo!  For me, mamma?
       Is it at last the super bone

Shut Down Survivor Kit

All of the province is shutting down.

The negativity is heard all around.

It is hitting hard for small families and business to.

What else could our province do.

Last week over 1,000 had a rally, no mask and stood side by side.

Now the numbers of COVID 19 rise.

I wish there was a plan to help those with no

at  the  entrance   to   the  drive-in church   the road  divides   deceptively

the cat's gotten

was about and

in a hole in
the floor
board

i saw a mouse
behind a drum
kit knocking
down the

house
