A Hickie On My Brain

A hickie marks your territory,
A step often preparatory
To becoming a couple true,
Finding One to live with you
Throughout all your days
Across the Heavens, you will Blaze
Your loving names will never be forgotten,
The Apple of Love you ate won't be rotten!
I know these things, for I have won,
The Journey has thus begun.
My Lover has hit me like a train,
And left a Hickie on my Brain!
Now she says that she will start,
To mark every other part!
I told her not to worry about every other part,
For she has already covered my Willing Heart!
I pick you up...you look the same
but you smell different,
Is it a new hairstyle?
Did you get your nails done?
Or is it the shoes?...Naww
It's gotta be the new contacts!!!
No???
I already established
that there was a new perfume.
Could it be you lost your braces?
Are your thighs getting bigger?
Wait wait...I got it...You got your
eyebrows done!...You arched them?
New earrings?...You lose weight?
WAIT...There's something different.
It's a shame...I mean you look the same.
Okay...Let me guess could it be me?
...Or that big ol' hickie on your neck!!!
