I long to see Guanacos
Leap and fly
Over verdant grasses
And hills on high;
Watch small Chulengos
Nurtured by their side
Learn to leap their way
Fills the heart with pride.
Patagonian mountains
Is their home,
A place where these wild
Creatures love to roam.
Torres del Paine looks down
Where they graze,
Snowcapped in winter
And sure to amaze,
Lends picturesque beauty
To the wild herds.
To capture this vision,
There are no words.
I long to see Guanacos
leap and fly
Over verdant grasses
And hills on high.
