Premium Member Chiseling An Angel Out of An Anarchist

We were unprepared for the pandemic.
Now we're totally unprepared for the rioting.

Before leaving for my "essential" job last night.
My girl handed me a small blue chisel...
"To protect yourself," she said sternly.

Is it possible to chisel an angel out of an anarchist?
A Black Lives Matter rioter or the antichrist.
I just shook my head and smiled.
Appreciating the beautiful but futile gesture
Under a three-quarter moon,
I kissed her goodbye. Grabbed my plague mask
Headed for my "essential job"
leaving her blue riot chisel behind.
