Naive Lover

Sitting beside the window pane
I wandered around the memory lane

Springing from the midnight dark
you struck my heart like a spark

The pain surged as tears rolled
saw you smiling on top of the world

I screamed as you started moving
but you faded away so uncaring

I ran behind you like a cart
still finding you a mile apart

You stopped and fleered at me
kneeling down I gazed you only

Your eyes as clear as sunshine
saying you naive lover of mine

Then you vanished in my mind
and I felt the cold dawn wind

Wiping my tears I saw the sun
that never forgets to move on.
