Once my test had come and passed,
the memory of one young nurse remains.
I related to Ericka God’s hand in my life,
how He had released me from sin’s chains.
Sometimes my test meant death facing,
and I am what I am only by His grace.
I’ll let my life be the sermon I preach,
until the time I meet Jesus face to face.
Written after being in the hospital for 23 days.
