Assonence-less without redress..subtle warnings, its the dawning, fear is spawning
Night to morning.' Billionaires drive, much psudeo, mumbo-jumbo ( what do we know?) Why is

Downloading Time

Had to download some daylight,
the screen is in dark mode,
is the plasma alive?
Alive in the way the brain is;
not awake or aware
but just a memory nexus
shuffling between
fake pictures of reality.

The sun is up, a fuzzy picture,
one a camera once captured,
an image
blurred by a few lost rays
of time.

Coffee mug is still untouched,
it too is in dark screen mode,
adjustments will have to be made,
a lot of downloaded vids
of cute kittens perhaps?

I recall when
there were no delete buttons,
just buttons,
coats unhooked from anything,
yet even back then
hooks were hung by unseen hands.
There were no reboot options
in that world.

It's getting lighter,
I can see that from a lens
held in a hand
I will never know.

The dark is diminishing,
but that light,
what a strange light
that has no day or night
within it,
and it wavers, it shimmers,
comes and goes,
and it does not shine-out,
just leaks out
of a plasma picture.

Downloading the Light

Take a slow tick of time
to shut-down the brain.
Rebooting also works,
the writing on the mind wall
will probably continue,
but don't get back on the thought train,
The much annotated, over-cluttered script
will fade away
when your eyes begin to look through it.

We are all born with a soft spot
atop our heads, that aperture is still there,
it opens when you unplug
from all your self-talk.
The starry universe can now pour in,
or just a scent of an unworldly flower
that swoons your sense.

Keep brainless, sit apart from its
scrolling word-monitor,
sit, lay or stand one breath away
from its constant chatter,
watch from a distance
watch the one who watches
do not editorialize
just observe.

That metaphysical hole
in your emptying head
will let your Higher Self inward
and it will fill you with wonder
until you know there is no 'you'

at least until once more
you turn back on
your beeping and buzzing brain
to find some news of yourself.

Premium Member Goading Downloading

How often a simple chat grows byzantine sublime.
You listen to hear and help.
When 'Download' button self-pressed
at first its a story about them.
What has happened, the problems and dilemmas that confront their state.
But then the hints and links to you pop up.
The download shifts to a goad.
The pleading frog becomes a goading toad.
The links to what is asked of you
light up like warning lights on a panel.
The message for goads is clear:
"Stick to the Shorts"
"Limit you download bytes"
"Keep to small doses"
"Keep your goad load toad under control"
